FairHooker11
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/12/us/epa-treating-toxic-water-from-abandoned-colorado-mine-after-accident.html?_r=0 DENVER — Nearly a week after the Environmental Protection Agency accidentally breached a store of chemical-laced water from an abandoned mine in southwest Colorado, toxic water continues to spill at a rate of 500 to 700 gallons a minute, E.P.A. officials said Tuesday. so will Obama declare a "moratorium" on the EPA too ? OldBrownsFan
With the EPA dumping millions of gallons of contaminated water into the river it shows Reagan was right when he said the most terrifying words in the English language are, "I am from the government and I am here to help". LogicIsForSquares
The EPA has its place. They made Freedom Industries clean up the disaster left after they dumped millions of gallons of coal cleaning chemicals into the Elk River. It was weeks before the water here wasn't poison. I still don't trust it. That said, they royally fucked up and will likely not pay out settlements to the locals. Why would they sue themselves? Dste Ace
Just think if a Rep was in office. A Rep was in office. Remember "Heck of a job, Brownie?" Every president--every single one---brings a bunch of their buddies to Washington and gives them jobs they are not qualified to hold. The next president--Rep or Dem--will unfortunately do the exact same thing. Nothing to see here---move along.
