Apparently, this one will be worse - we still are doing the same things to bring it about..

at a faster rate of speed under the dirtbag in our WH now.

It would have been nice to have had a real recovery though before recession hits. Under Obama we have had the worst economic recovery coming out of a recession since the Great Depression. The big difference is that this time we will have doubled our national debt to over 18 trillion dollars. Just digging the hole deeper and deeper to get out of. We should have never allowed the out of control spending. Entitlement spending is what is killing us and politicians want to get elected and re-elected and cutting back on entitlements doesn't usually win you voters. So nothing will be done like doing gradual and less painful cuts now.

If any of you would have listened to RP, I mean "really" listened to him....you'd understand that it doesn't matter who's president. Do any of you think that whoever is president has authority over our monetary structure? Revamping that would likely take all 3 branches...but would be significantly opposed by pretty much all of wall street, all banks etc etc. Seriously, we are built on a boom and bust cycle. It's a bubble economy. Yes, bailing out bad sectors doesn't help. Problem is special interests have embedded themselves in both political parties and they're not going anywhere. They've indemnified themselves from the "bust" parts of the cycle.

People on both sides continuing to believe this is the product of the other party are just confusing themselves and making their opinions irrelevant. If you can't properly look at the problem you have no hope of figuring out a solution, or contributing to it etc, etc. People are going to have to face at some point that this great country to a certain extent, was built on a house of cards. And both political parties have contributed equally to eroding away the core of the country in favor of over consumption and general capitalist over excess. We mismanaged capitalism because we got sold a bill of shit that capitalism regulates itself. Yet we have one market entity after another that has figured out a way to game the system and indemnify itself from natural market forces.
