Clevfan4life
U must have a secret crush on Hillary. He got destroyed. I felt so bad for Fiorina that she had to endure that mop head waxing so sincerely about what a beautiful woman she is. You could see her vomit in her own mouth just a little bit. The soundbites this man has created just in the last few weeks for the Hillary obfuscation machine virtually ensures her win. On a positive note, Rand keeps coming across as the only true intellectual among them. You can tell he actually has his own thought through belief structure that he doesn't need to be coached on and have to rehearse for weeks. Everybody comes across so canned and rehearsed, even Trump now. I'm liking Rand more and more.
gftChris
I'm about 30 seconds in and Rubio already looks like an ass. Huckerby spoke well, but had no substance. The intro question was "tell us about yourself" and his immediate response is "well none of us here are socialists or under FBI investigation, we're a great group of candidates, I'll put these guys in my administration" - which, however much you believe it to be the case, doesn't actually tell us anything about you... Legacy Fan
Didn't watch the debates, but per my Twitter feed and the follow up news, it seems like Rand Paul gave some great answers, good ideas, along with Mrs Fiorina. These went largely unnoticed thanks to Trump's blowhard circus with Christie as the side-show.
DieHardBrownsFan
I've given Carson a second thought. Trump does look like a clown now. Christie should just withdraw from the race and be glad the people of New Joisey are stupid enough to vote for him. Florina looks pretty good. Rand Paul also. Kasich should withdraw. Bob806
I didn't even watch what happened now I watched, and in the beginning it was all about Trump or Trump bashing. When it settled down, I kept wondering why they had 11 Rs up there- maybe lots of $$ being divided up within the party. Kasich isn't camera friendly and too fidgety, which hurt him. Rubio made some sense (to me at least), Carson is well spoken. I believe Trump when he says he's a business man and can help get the economy on track- he will have to surround himself with great folks to help with foreign policy for sure, his temperament won't mesh with today's sugar coated language. I don't like Christie at all, but I thought he did well last night. I'm anti-Hilary, and looking for a good alternative. Rs scare me (except on foreign policy, they seem better to me, always have). I'm watching closely.
The Cysko Kid
Carson going on about immigrants isn't a deal breaker for me as I've long felt Mexican immigrants could be converted to republicans and could be good allies.
LogicIsForSquares
Trump told a stupid fucking story about an employee taking her kid to get a vaccine and that the kid came back with autism. Westside Steve
Not to defend Trump but his knowledge of foreign policy is probably equal to or slightly better than the presidents. Carson is correct to an extent that Americans won't do some jobs. At least at a reasonable rate for grunt work. One of the reasons for that is that our society is aging and people in their sixties and seventies and eighties are out of the workforce. And there are more of them who need services. And many of our minorities don't want to work in the first place. also high school and college and a little bit older kids look down their nose at any kind of physical labor. And the unions want 4x what a job is worth for semi-skilled workers. He shouldn't have said illegal immigrants, if he in fact did, but immigration is necessary considering our shrinking population. Westside Steve
We should accept immigrants from England, Germany and France only. I think we should definitely emphasize immigrants with skills and those that are not so strictly anti west. I would include many Asians, Indians and Eastern Europeans. I actually like Latinos too. But screen everybody. WSS
OldBrownsFan
On the vaccinations I did agree with Trump that it would be better to spread the vaccinations out over a period of time rather than giving such a large amount at once. We live in a day of mass produced assembly line medicine. I went with my dad a while back to have some outpatient surgery and it reminded me of an assembly line with a number of patients having the same type surgery starting out at 7:00 AM and having all of them out by 2:30. I understand it is simpler and more efficient to give mass doses of vaccination and be done with it rather than spreading it out over time but I think it would be safer that way. OldBrownsFan
I didn't watch all the debate (3 hours was too long for me) but I thought the questions were kind of comical as most seemed to go along the lines of "so and so candidate said this bad thing about you and how do you respond". So we got too many food fights and not enough substance. Maybe it makes for good ratings but it doesn't address the real problems we face and the candidates solutions. Oh he was right until he jumped the shark and tried to claim an employee's kid went to the doc and came back with autism. Carson was at least forgiving enough to not tell him he was full of shit but instead said no research has ever proven that vaccines give autism. We do spread the vaccinations out. Yes, some of them overlap, but you should know that it's okay to stagger those by a few days or a week for the early vaccines or even months for the later vaccines. That way you're only changing one variable at a time, and if your child has an allergic reaction to them, then you'll know exactly what caused it. Typically, they're done all at once because it's easier for both the patient and the doctor, and the because allergic reactions are relatively rare. But yeah, that debate was a shitshow. They really need to thin the herd.

MLD Woody
Carsons best moment was his response to Trumps anti-vax stuff. He could have destroyed him, but went about it in a reasonable manner. If Trump wasn't enough of a joke to you before, the anti-vax rhetoric of a toddler getting autism from a vaccine should be enough for anyone. That was comical. I think Carson as a whole looked out of place. Like he was quite sure what he was doing. Cruz creeper me out. Staring tight into the camera instead of at the crowd or moderators was weird. Not a fan of the HP chick. Bush looked a little flustered as Trump was taking shots. I think his stock stayed constant. I think Rubio did well. Stock up. The secret service nicknames were cringe worthy. Most used that as a chance to get in some buzzwords. I was expecting someone to answer "Nine Eleven Freedom Jesus".. calfoxwc
I have the "debate" recorded, will watch it later. Cruz - I believe in. He just looks like a bald eagle in a tree hungrily watching it's prey. Christie is a NJ version of trump - attention hogs and boorish loud mouths. They both should drop out of the race. I still admire Carson hugely - sent an email to his office, and got a nice explanation of the total story about his feelins on immigration - Carson has sound bites work against him - he's a complex, analytical thinker. And when trump earlier said of Carson - that he was an "ok" dr. ..that was really, really stupidass. On the flip side - seeing that any democratic group supports hillary.... is like watching the manson family sing songs in tribute to charles manson. Sick and no sane person can understand it. I'll take notes when I watch it.

He probably does now thanks to dozens of high-level security advisors and 6 years into his presidency. The clown didn't know shit from shinola when he was a senator or a presidential candidate.
