GOP Debate Yesterday

The polls now are pretty much exclusively registered republican likely primary voters, which mostly consists of people who have voted in Republican primaries before.

And Trump is winning in all of them.

Trump is not a Democrat conspiracy, people actually like him in conservative circles including the Rush Limbaugh hard right winger group. Blaze and breitbart readers are pretty big fans as well.

only watched about 2 minutes...

... but now it is Obama's fault Trump is popular with Republican voters?

No. Trump has appeal to voters because we are electing politicians who are at times voting for legislation which is not in the best interest of the American people. That is what the video is speaking about.

It's some kind of carpet ride isn't it?

You just aren't getting it. This omnibus monster bill signed on to by republicans is why the base of the republican party has been looking to outsiders like Trump and Carson (although Carson has faded recently). These republicans idea of compromising with democrats is to get whatever they can to benefit big business and the chamber of commerce and throw to the wayside everything else such as immigration, Obamacare or defunding planned parenthood and sanctuary cities among other things. Even on giving in on immigration these republicans are helping the chamber of commerce who like all the cheap labor they can get and give some of their profits back to GOP politicians who make sure they get favored treatment. So what we have are republican politicians who say they are against Obamacare and will have 40 "show" votes that mean nothing even though they are in position to do something meaningful as they control the purse strings. These republicans were elected to stop some of the Obama agenda but time after time they show they are primarily focused on the interests of big business but they will give cheap talk to republican voters about defunding PP or illegal immigration and then do nothing. I vote republican but I consider them to be the party that is the lesser of 2 evils and not that I think so highly of them.

Sessions is not the best public speaker but listen to the substance of what he is saying. He is blasting his own party, the hypocrisy of what is going on and the betrayal of these republicans to the people who voted them into office.
