Here is a set of Trivia called: Name that Draft Bust. I will give a brief description of a player taken fairly high in the NFL draft....that was a bust....you name him. There are a few Browns players in here...but hint: JFF, Gilbert, Mingo are not the answers to any questions:

1. 1st ever Heisman winner, 1st ever #1 overall draft pick. Never played a down in Pro Football.

2. #1 Overall pick in the draft. QB. Only threw 30 NFL passes. Stuttering problems caused him to be unable to call plays.

3. #2 overall pick. QB. Many thought he might go #1. Played 25 games. Currently in prison.

4. #1 overall pick of the Rams. QB. Started one career game.

5. #1 overall pick. Defensive End. Injuries shortened his career. Lived up to only half of his nickname.

6. #1 overall pick of an expansion team. QB. Was never given an offensive line to protect him. 23-56 career record as starter.

12. #3 overall pick. QB. Played 4 seasons but only had 5 TD passes and 1 win as starter. He was an asshole.

14. #6 overall pick. RB. His criminal career was more productive than his NFL career.

Friend of Lenny Dykstra? ... not really fair to Lenny...

15. #4 overall pick. QB. Same could be said about him as said above. 91 of 202 in his career with 3 TDs.

As an interesting side note, wasn't Ernie Davis the first black Heisman winner? and he never played a down.

Still breaks my heart.

I believe that is correct. In fact, checking I see that from 1936 to 1970 only 3 black players won the Heisman: Davis, Mike Garrett and OJ.

The unfortunate thing is that string of Browns could easily have been a lot longer. I didn't do the Willis Adams, Steve Holdens, etc.
