THE BROWNS BOARD

It's time for NH to change the rep nominee direction

Both Trump and Cruz have now discredited themselves with their childishness and ill will. Trump with his big, extremely negative mouth, and now Cruz dumping on Carson, and having a bigmouth titfortat

with Trump.

It's time for Kasich to surge forward in NH and the rest -

It's time for a Kasich/Carson ticket to come forward and be official soon.

You know I'm right - I've had plenty of down time to observe things and analyze them,

so, there ya go.

Rubio is basically the same as Bush without the last name.

It's going to be a two man race between Trump and Rubio, though.

Sanders will probably win New Hampshire and lose the rest. Too many old women like Hillary.

Expect Kasich, Christie, and Fiorina to drop out after NH and throw their support behind Rubio because they're all establishment cucks.

I don't trust trump, rubio or christie at all if they got into the wh.

I do kasich, and maybe Cruz, but a lot less,

and Carson is still an outstanding human being who would make a great VP.

I hope Kasich surprises the field. He should be leading the pack.

and Jeb... is a willy nilly fuddy duddy if he got into the wh.

Well, we knew that, right? Important part is whether they genuinely believed that and had bad information, or were wilfully trying to undermine the carson campagin. Either way it isn't good for Cruz.

It was a political move, just like the 'citations' sent to people who hadn't participated. Cruz is a shrewd politician.

For 'shrewd politician' read 'underhanded dick'? Don't like that in a politician, one of the main reasons I don't like Hillary.

The original story didn't say Carson was dropping out on CNN, but CNN clarified anyway he's just getting a change of clothes and isn't dropping out.

After CNN reiterated that going to Florida doesn't mean he's dropping out, the Cruz campaign called all 1500 Iowa precinct Cruz captains (around 7:30, 1/2 hr before voting time) and told them to get Carson supporters because he's dropping out.

At the minimum it was sloppy reporting from CNN and although they never said Carson was leaving the race they left the impression he was saying that he was not going to New Hampshire or South Carolina but Florida. I put more blame on this on the Cruz campaign who took the story and ran with it without bothering to check with Carson to confirm it but CNN is not without fault here either.

Carson showed a lot of character in how he handled this by accepting the apology from Cruz. Carson said he would like to see some accountability from the Cruz campaign which I agree with. Too many times we see this out of Washington where politicians say they take full responsibility on issues but there are never consequences. I do think Cruz should fire some people on his campaign staff who were not responsible in how they handled this. I don't for a second think Cruz himself had anything to do with it though.

I could go with Carson as a running mate. I also think Trump may have some usefulness in a cabinet post, like Commerce.

I can't handle the D side nominees at all. K-Sick kicked me a tad left in 2011, Obama and Hillary kicked me back towards the center. The invisible fence won't let me slide too far right, but holy crap I'm as fed up with all this political BS as anyone.

I could see it end up being Rubio vs Sanders. Cruz/Trump/Hillary are pure diarrhea.

Even as hard left the democrats have gone and Clinton being a weak candidate I see no chance of a socialist like Sanders beating her out. Sanders will win in New Hampshire but after that and the race goes South I don't see Sanders winning too many states.

I'm supporting Cruz but not sure if he can win it. I think it will either be Trump or Rubio versus Clinton (unless Clinton is indicted).

I think it is comical how recently Clinton has wrapped herself around Obama promising to be Obama's third time. Now why would Hillary do this with a president who it not popular? Hmmm maybe hoping it will help her not get indicted from the Obama Justice Dept??? That is OBF's guess.

We know where your loyalties really lie, O'Bama Fan. YOu just want Cruz to get the nomination because he'll lose...

Clinton is such a weak candidate I don't see anyone on the republican side losing to her. I think that is the reason the republicans had everyone coming out of the woodwork to run for president this time.

CNN never said he was leaving the race, and then they explicitly said he's not leaving the race just before 7PM.

Cruz's people made the phone calls at 7:30, after everything was 100% clarified and it was 100% clear he wasn't leaving the race.

Cruz, his campaign manager, and everybody else was fully aware of what they were doing - they did it anyway. They tried to use CNN and even Trump as a scape goat before they apologized. Even Karl Rove explained how fucked up it was and he's the biggest anti-Trump man there is (aside from Glen Beck).

At the debate tomorrow Cruz is going to get bent over by Trump and it'll end with Cruz endorsing the establishment favorite Rubio (because Cruz is the establishment)

After super Tuesday everybody will have dropped out and endorsed Rubio - with the exception of maybe Carson/Huckabee who may endorse Trump.

The Donald is looking better and better:

Chicago Stock Exchange Says It's Being Sold to Chinese-Led Group

Pretty small fry. Not even the largest exchange in chicago.

I put the blame on Cruz but still say sloppy reporting from CNN that left the impression Carson was leaving the race. Don't count on Trump winning any debates over Cruz as Cruz is the best debater in the bunch. After super tuesday Cruz will still be in the race. it will be a three man race to the finish.
