Pumpkin Eater Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 that was a catch without question
miktoxic Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 you're the biggest asshole on this board. unsporstmanlike conduct on talib to give carolina a first down? get the fuck out of here fat boy.
One Post Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 It was not a catch. He didn't have two feet down making a football move while maintaining control.
One Post Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 you're the biggest asshole on this board. unsporstmanlike conduct on talib to give carolina a first down? get the fuck out of here fat boy. IKR. When Cam dabs they don't call that shit.
miktoxic Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 talib cost the broncos momentum and a good chance to be in the lead at the half. that is exactly what you get when you sign a great but 'over-agressive' player. that's what bosa has done in big games too. so think about a big dummy that gets flags thrown on him during most crucial points in a game before you draft them or pick them up in FA.

Without those over aggressive competitors Denver doesn't make it to the Super bowl.
miktoxic Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Without those over aggressive competitors Denver doesn't make it to the Super bowl. i hear you, but 3 personal fouls already in the first half? c'mon man. btw pumpincockeater, how does the fix in for denver look you fucking dumbass? typical speak before knowing redneck black man you are.

I would sign Talib right now. I sure didn't mind the penalties when Eric Turner destroyed receivers. It served it's purpose.
miktoxic Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 I would sign Talib right now. I sure didn't mind the penalties when Eric Turner destroyed receivers. It served it's purpose. don't ever use the names talib and turner in the same sentence. sacrilege if you're a browns fan. one of the hardest roughest toughest players on the field and one of the best human beings off the field. talib ain't even in the same zip code as eric turner was.
htownbrown Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Fair enough, but my point is if the net is positive you deal with some bullshit for the chance at some shiny rewards.
miktoxic Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 broncos red zone offense sucks. i'll admit right now though that the panthers would blow the broncos out. if the broncs hold on to win (which i really don't care cuz i despise both teams for different reasons..) game mvp should go to wade phillips. squonked brady and is beating up newton too.
jrb12711 Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 I never think the NFL is outright rigged, but this game put a crappy bow on the below average season for refs and a lot of head stratching missed calls.
hoorta Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 I never think the NFL is outright rigged, but this game put a crappy bow on the below average season for refs and a lot of head stratching missed calls Could easily have called Cam for intentional grounding a couple of times. & the Refs totally missed a takedown by Carolina's LG.
jrb12711 Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Could easily have called Cam for intentional grounding a couple of times. & the Refs totally missed a takedown by Carolina's LG. Yeah, just a lot of stuff on both sides I didn't mean to sound biased. The simple truth is that refs are asked to look for way too much than what is humanly possible, and it's leading to tons of missed or bad calls.
Westside Steve Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Looks to me like the Carolina Panthers, as well as some of the bookies and betters, took the Broncos a little too lightly. Seems like they were more concerned with jive dancing and doing the Hokey Pokey after every play than they were getting their asses handed to them by a very good defense. WSS
One Post Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 When Cam didn't go for the fumble that was the deal breaker.
calfoxwc Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Any qb who fumbles, and doesn't care to man up and get into a scramble for said fumble.... isn't a qb I'd want on my team. And, regarding Cam Newton, looking back, I'm impressed that he didn't just jump up and down and hold his breath til he passed out, crying over losing the game and having a crappy game. My guess is, that with all the commercials, the NFL said to not call offensive line holding...to make the game not last even longer. And the call on the bobbled catch was a good call. He didn't have control of it before he hit the ground, nor after. Close, real close, but no catch. My buddy who brought some great bbq ribs over, thought it was. Talib should have been ejected on that facemask crap. No excuse for that.

Hell it was Heckert that drafted TJ Ward when he was with the Browns.

WSS Yep....you're exactly right.
BrownPile Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 Cam Tarkenton needs a new offensive line. hey suck. If I were the Pathers I would forget about almost going undefeated and clobbering the Cardinals. THey need to draft MORE OL MORE OL I am telling you, that's the fucking problem.... Ht Offensive line. When Cam holds on too long and gets clobbered? Its the OL When Cam has explosive performances? It's the OL When recievers make great catches? Yep, It's the OL Field goal is made? The OL Field Goal missed? It's the OL Short punt? The OL sucks. Interceptions? Its the OL The OL is so fucking important, these lard asses are EVERYTHING. It's so simple to see. More lard asses, More Lard asses. 11 OL on the field at the same time. THAT's how the Browns are gonna win it all. So true,.. The OL means nothing. Nor a defense. To win, all you need is a QB an WRs, so the Browns should use ALL their draft picks on QBs and WRs. The ones who don't make it through camp as the starters are turned into OL, since - of course - they don't matter at all - and as others have pointed out, all you really need to do is coach them up properly. Others can be turned into DE, DT, LB and CB. Because they don't matter either And if QB sucks, I have ten more who I can tap to take over. Think of the flea flicker plays that could be run, too. Plus think of the merchandise they can sell. The Browns can win it all by drafting all the QBs and WRs forever, because no one else will have any. I mean, WHO can't SEE that?
Westside Steve Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 Just saying he seems like a punk before during and after the game. Dance and taunt your opponents all season until you get your butt smacked and then pout like a little bitch. WSS
Pumpkin Eater Posted February 9, 2016 Author Report Posted February 9, 2016 Lol the Broncos are the ones being punks, talking shit and rubbing it in well after the game is over. Sore winners. The panthers have fun playing the game I don't see the problem with it.

Westside Steve Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 Isn't that typical of a person who has known nothing but privilege for a long time? Uh, no? I would imagine every top notch athlete, I mean the cream of the crop, have been guided through their careers from elementary school through the pros with a golden umbrella. As soon as their coaches realize they are destined for greatness. And among that group I would say there's a wide variety of behavior. WSS
Guest Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 I would guess that Tom Heckert played a bigger role in bringing in the FA's than Elway. Hell it was Heckert that drafted TJ Ward when he was with the Browns. Forgot about Heckert. Sigh. He was here when we signed Jordon Norwood as a udfa from Penn State as well. I remember all the guy did was catch the football. So he went to Denver, picked off Ward, refound Norwood and won a SB. I always liked him in Cleveland, the only guy so far that didn't make a joke out fo the draft when he was here. Zombo

Sure he had a few bad picks (TR and Weeds come to mind) but I would rather have him than the likes of Farmer, Mangini, or Lombardi.
