I'd put Barnidge a bit higher and Kruger a lot further down. Rarely saw anything but slowness and inability to set the edge out of Kruger.

Thanks for sharing that! There's quite a few I agree with. Unfortunately, we might lose some to free agency while father time has put some best football in the rear view mirror forothers. The good news is I can bump up the Meder motor in there now as well as the following: Cooper, Lee, Robertson, Coons, McCown, Campbell, Crow and Pasztor. I have a feeling Horton's defense is going to give Orchard a perfect niche once he gets enough reps to be cozy. Just a gut.

Counting on Josh Gordon almost seems like standing in quick sand. He never got the message in college regardless of how many different programs thought it would be different after josh promised them it would be. There's no telling when his suspension ends or when the next time we're going to read poor Josh just hung around with the wrong guys again. Even worse, his brother is his worst influence for a guy that just can't say no.

I'd rather trade him to the God complex in Dallas for more draft picks and snag a kid like Doctson at #32 or even defensive help. We got him back when we were 6-4 in 2014 and we only won 1 of the last 4 games in spite of how talented he is. The only thing consistent with him is how often he can't help the team that gave him his most recent chance. Some will say he only had 1 beer. If so, how does he fail a water soluble drug test some 12-24 hours later? Make sense? It shouldn't.. What should matter is who he continues to surround himself with after all these chances he's received. He's refusing millions of $ for it as we speak so I'm not as confident as others about him. I always adored the idea of him but the reality has become a pretty big trend history is trying to get is to realize here...

Good read but I totally disagree with using draft picks in even the top 53 let alone the top 25. You have to be a really bad football player for someone to assume even a player that hasn't played a down in the NFL is better than you are.

Totally agree... When a 6th OL makes the list, but your starting SS does not??? Ditto for no Tramon Williams, but both K'waun and Desir show???

Also disagree with limiting consideration of draft picks to Rnds 1 and 2... if Rnd 3 or 4 got the votes to make the top 25, so be it. I could see at least the 3rd Rnd making it easily.

It's hard to do an accurate list at this point but this topic is a great lead into a good football discussion. When I tried to do something similar to this list a few weeks back - what made it tough was knowing what FAs we're going to lose. Also, get this folks - we're changing defenses again. Surprise! That's getting as predictable as forecasting rain in Seattle. Even worse, this former summer school major included Kruger on my list so I had to find my id ten forms. Once I put my reading classes on - here's what that form looked like: ID10T.

Let's see some ideas of who we would prefer to see in there.

My biggest question(among many) would be is this ranking directly attributed to the 2016 season??.....if so, how could it not include our QB?

It does...

His name? Pick #2...

... which is not a great name for a QB...

Better than pick 6.

Sorry, low hanging fruit.

DOH!

Sometimes low-hanging is the funniest...

Yeah....so many things to pick on.....Ifo and Desir are more important than Williams and Gilbert?.....

This years 2nd round pick is more important than both of last years firsts?....or the development of Orchard?...

How do Pryor and Hughlett even get an honorable mention in the bottom group??

Honestly.....could go on and on and on.....

lol... Struck me that this Board could do a better job... not only in the list, but also the comments. Some of the rationales are hilarious; others are merely thin.

If you haven't peeked at the spreadsheet, take a look.

Erving? You telling me Erving? El Stinko Mucho?

Me & Flugs are just going to have to disagree about Gordon.

You can't put draft picks in the top 25 until they actually play.
