wargograw Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Anyone in his camp? I think a majority of folks have him above Bosa on their boards now. What am I missing? Watched some of his tape to see if I wanted to commandeer "Camp Buckner." The tape is pretty average. Very inconsistent pass rush and it seems very easy to wash him out on run plays. Plays very lazy. Saw a bunch of plays where he grabbed the RB's legs 2-3 yards downfield and let the RB fall forward.
Clevfan4life Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 another big strong kid who can beast at times but with suspect consistency. The run deficiency is a big negatory to me. The defensive players we draft, wherever we draft em...."must" come with some kind of run stopping proficiencies. And by that I mean the fundamentals which so few of these guys exhibit with any regularity.

Tour2ma Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Find comments re why Joey Bosa isn't the best fit for the #2. Copy. Paste. Not exactly... Buckner is not only a good fit as a 3-4 DE, it's likely his best fit. But there will be reasonable, 3-4 DE alternatives at #32. Same can't be said for QB...
Clevfan4life Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Find comments re why Joey Bosa isn't the best fit for the #2. Copy. Paste. But he doesn't fit, we don't do playmakers here in Cleveland.
LogicIsForSquares Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 But he doesn't fit, we don't do playmakers here in Cleveland. Your ass is real chapped.

Tour2ma Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 There will be better alternatives at QB than there will be at DE at some point in the draft. No, there won't... Not that either of us could know that of course.... Saved you a reply?
Clevfan4life Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Your ass is real chapped. lmao....seriously though, we don't do playmakers here in Cleveland. We circle the same drain for decades. We're always trying to build from the outside in instead of inside out.
The Gipper Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 No, there won't... Not that either of us could know that of course.... Saved you a reply? Now that you know that you don't know shit, why do you continue to espouse shit.
wargograw Posted March 2, 2016 Author Report Posted March 2, 2016 DE is much deeper than QB this year, Gip.
The Gipper Posted March 3, 2016 Report Posted March 3, 2016 DE is much deeper than QB this year, Gip. That may be true.....but I think the quality of the DE position is better and will be in more demand by more teams earlier in the draft.. Certainly we need one. I mean, Starks has been put on the shelf no? And Armonty Bryant will be gonzo. Right now we start Dez Bryant and the Sausage King, with X Cooper our only basic backup.
