gftChris Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Not many, and certainly none of the names at the top - if you're rebuilding, you don't add a 30+ safety looking for a ring; you don't add a serviceable-but-aging QB when you already have one, you do't add a trouble making edge rusher looking for elite money, you don't add a consistently injured 30+ running back when you can pick up a serviceable guy for peanuts in the draft. You instead add guys who can perform at a decent level, for close to vet minimum, and look to the draft to recruit your stars - three good, solid drafts could yield 6-8 pro-bowlers if done properly, you re-sign *them* and go again, picking up talent through the draft.
wargograw Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Mathis to LG with Bito to RT and a rookie center?
gftChris Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Would prefer Evans. But we'll get neither, both are the wrong side of 30 for a team rebuilding.
darren15 Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Numbers 7, 24 and 28 please ..... Number 7 if he is over his injury issues
TexasAg1969 Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 I hope we at least look at 24. and Junior Galette who has averaged 11 sacks last two years for NO. Had a season ending A. tendon tear so would need medical clearance.
Clevfan4life Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 First, Aldon Smith is a 3-4 OLB'er not a 4-3. Second, did Laurinaitis sign somewhere?
gftChris Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 First, Aldon Smith is a 3-4 OLB'er not a 4-3. Second, did Laurinaitis sign somewhere? Nope.
darren15 Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 First, Aldon Smith is a 3-4 OLB'er not a 4-3. Second, did Laurinaitis sign somewhere? I do not think Aldon Smith is a fit .....
Clevfan4life Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 I do not think Aldon Smith is a fit ..... Neither do I, was just sayin he ain't a 4-3 OLB'er. So where was Lauriinatis on that list?
darren15 Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Neither do I, was just sayin he ain't a 4-3 OLB'er. So where was Lauriinatis on that list? 28th
The Gipper Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Neither do I, was just sayin he ain't a 4-3 OLB'er. So where was Lauriinatis on that list? I heard that Westside Steve came down with Laurinitis this past weekend and couldn't perform.
LogicIsForSquares Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Second, did Laurinaitis sign somewhere? No. There is a reason for that.
TexasAg1969 Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 I heard that Westside Steve came down with Laurinitis this past weekend and couldn't perform. I heard it was either prostatitis or prostitutus, not sure which.
One Post Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 BJ Raji not playing this year. Can't believe Wallace isn't taken.
gumby73 Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Can't believe Wallace isn't taken. She will go back to shitsburger become Bryant? Give me C Wisniewski, ILB Zac Brown, OLB Jr. Gallette
Canton Mike Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 She will go back to shitsburger become Bryant? Give me C Wisniewski, ILB Zac Brown, OLB Jr. Gallette Can't really disagree. After all, Pittspuke is the only team that got anything out of him, so they may rent him until druggy boy makes it back. We'll see on some others. Mike
One Post Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Don't see Leon Hall - Bengals on the list
htownbrown Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Browns will only sign cuts if anything. They won't effect their comp picks. Don't expect much.
Mudfly Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Weddle signs with the Ravens Argh.... I know he's 30, but I woulda signed him in a second.....now, instead.....we have to play him twice a year......
hx214 Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Upshaw at a good price could help the run defense.
gftChris Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Upshaw at a good price could help the run defense. Suggs is almost done and Dumerville is no spring chicken. If Upshaw was any good the ravens would have retained him.
hx214 Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Suggs is almost done and Dumerville is no spring chicken. If Upshaw was any good the ravens would have retained him. Upshaw isn't a complete LB. He is pretty much a run stopper. Which is a major issue with the defense. That's also why I said "at a good price"
Westside Steve Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Puts me in mind of the expansion draft. WSS
BrownsnMopar Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Puts me in mind of the expansion draft. WSS We need to expand our talent!!!
