Mike H Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 Not sure if Rahim Moore gets his own post, but the Browns signed him.
Taco918 Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 I gotta admit, waiting a week to make all these moves is kind of funny, consider many were wondering if the FO knew FA had started.
Alkid3 Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 Well the longer free agents wait the more we can low ball them. I think Browns are going with cheaper players.
darubes Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 This is reassuring: Browns signed S Rahim Moore to a one-year contract. Moore was a disaster his only season in Houston, getting benched after seven games and playing just 451 snaps. With Tashaun Gipson gone, he'll give Cleveland veteran insurance opposite Donte Whitner. One of the worst run-stopping safeties in the league, Moore's role should be limited to sub packages. Mar 16 - 4:26 PM Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter
LogicIsForSquares Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 There is a reason he is on a one year prove it deal.
Canton Dawg Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 I'm thinking he's a Bademosi replacement.
Tour2ma Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 If you look back two seasons he had a good 2014 in DNV w/ 4 INTs... One article I came across called him the "Broncos centerfielder".... sounds familiar.
Mike H Posted March 16, 2016 Author Report Posted March 16, 2016 It's a lateral move. At his best he's Gipson in 2015, which isn't Gipson in year's prior. But it's a 1-year deal as someone said, and he's good enough to take up space for a year in a lost season.
Guest Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 In his defense, he helped the Ravens win a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, he was playing for the Broncos at the time
gumby73 Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Well HE was with a team that got that far. HE was put on the field at a Big Play moment. Hell I will welcome that at this point..
The Gipper Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Well, again, the question is can these lower rated, lower paid guys.....like Alvin Bailey, Davis, this guy Rahim etc. produce as well as the guys that left......many of whom many think were overpaid and underproductive.....including apparently the guys in the Browns FO making the decisions on these things.
Browns1216 Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 nowhere to go but up, the defense can't get any worse than it was last season
nickers Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 nowhere to go but up, the defense can't get any worse than it was last season With Whorton.. it wont get much better.. book it.
Kvoethe Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 This is the place to come get a paycheck. Especially if your a scrub
Furious Styles Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 In his defense, he helped the Ravens win a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, he was playing for the Broncos at the time Thats cold man.
jrb12711 Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 I expect a few more of these 2nd tier filler players to hold a spot while drafted guys develop (hopefully). Again, that's not a bad plan for rebuilding a dreadful team if you draft well which hasn't occurred for the Browns since the Reagan administration.
The Gipper Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 Wasn't this guy the HC of the TBB's? No, I guess that was Raheem Morris. You can understand the confusion.
