Tour2ma Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Another stone turned... RG3 must be thinking, "Oh boy..."
One Post Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Oh boy. The Browns sign RG3 Zombo will have a stroke over this one.
flyingfooldoug Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 She did say it was an official visit. I don't know if that worries me or not.
dawg2fan Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Another stone turned... RG3 must be thinking, "Oh boy..." Or he could be thinking that someone is giving me another shot. Let's make the best of it.
BrownsnMopar Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Hmmmm Kap or RGIII let me think Ummmm NO!!! IFn you put a gun to my head.... I'll take... McCown All day every day!!! just sayin! GO BROWNS!!!
sdballis Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 If I have to choose between a FA RG3 (no cost to us) vs trading a THIRD for Kap, I choose RG3 EVERY DAY. Dude has talent, isn't a problem off the field, and showed he can play in this league his rookie year (injuries and a reality check have since put that ability to question). Someone is gonna give him a chance to be a backup/re-develop into a starter. Why not us? The scenarios you have to consider are: A. McCown/(Goff/Wentz) and our current D B. McCown/RG3 and we can do whatever we want with #2. Personally, I think that B might be the better of the two, ESPECIALLY if Hue and Co. aren't COMPLETELY sold on Wentz/Goff.
Unsympathetic Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Shaw and Davis were undrafted for good reason. Perhaps Hue completed his evaluation of both, and realized why they were undrafted. Perhaps Hue is giving RG3 a chance.. to be the taxi QB, which is more than he had last year. Option B is possible, but OptionC is McCown/(Goff/Wentz)/RG3 on the roster for a "get your head right" year
BrownsnMopar Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 I really like the idea of the #2 pick being the best player in this draft!!!

Option B is possible, but OptionC is McCown/(Goff/Wentz)/RG3 on the roster for a "get your head right" year If we bring in Goff/Wentz, Hue believes in them and they are the heir apparent, if not immediate starter, with McCown mentoring. If we bring in an RG3, it means Hue isn't completely sold on Wentz/Goff and envisions another player at #2 being more valuable to the team. I don't know how Hue can be sure that RG3 is capable of a revival, but we have McCown to bridge regardless and RG3 should be cheap. It's a low-risk move to bring him in and see what he has. If he busts, no big deal. If he becomes what most expected him to be, then great, we have our QB. I just can't envision bringing in RG3 and then saying "We really love you, Goff/Wentz, but we brought in RG3 just to play games with your mind."
D Bone Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 I like that they are looking at all options.
Guest Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Oh boy. The Browns sign RG3 Zombo will have a stroke over this one. At least they are addressing the position. He's affordable and wouldnt cost a draft pick. I wanted to trade up for him the year he came out in the draft... so maybe we will luck out and get the mature, humbled version. Z
miktoxic Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 the cleveland browns QB situation as seen through the eyes of moe, dopey, QBert and homer simpson. great stuff guys! keep it comin.
Kvoethe Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Hes looking at us with $$$$ in his eyes knowing he can fleece us for millions while underperforming. Bowe 2.0
gumby73 Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Hue Jackson will not pass on a Wentz or Goff. I think McCown sticks at 6M also. Now it's down to a younger Kap or RG3 to get moneyballed around 10M.
Comeonman Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 I really liked the last WAS QB we signed (imagine text in pink)
One Post Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 I just don't like RG3. He looks like a frog. He's hurt all the time too. A good tackler tho.
Clevfan4life Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 We barely have to pay him shit. Better than a trade for Kaepernick. Why not? RG, McCown and Davis next year. That will get us to our franchise QB. Build up the trenches till we can feel confident throwing a kid out there.
gumby73 Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 We barely have to pay him shit. Better than a trade for Kaepernick. Why not? #1 RG, #2McCown and #3 Wentz/Goff next year. That will get us to our franchise QB. Build up the trenches till we can feel confident throwing a kid out there. Fixed
SkippinTurtles Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 RG3 and Josh Gordon getting back together could be good for both of them.

gumby73 Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 I just don't like RG3. He looks like a frog. He's hurt all the time too. A good tackler tho. We got a Bloodbath, We tried a Colt, We just got rid of a Rabbit & now you hate year old hoppin Frogs. What could go wrong
D Bone Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 RG3 and Josh Gordon getting back together could be good for both of them. Uh oh, this post will surely summon PoG....... Much like uttering Beetlejuice.

If the dude couldn't play for Gruden in WSH, then I don't want him.

SkippinTurtles Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 Sign Alfred Morris and RG3 for nothing. Draft Tunsil. If Tunsil is a stud this could make the offense not horrific.
