VaporTrail Posted March 25, 2016 Report Posted March 25, 2016 This is one of the most fascinating and objective takes on Trump that I've seen. Scott Adams describes the Trump's power of persuasion and the linguistic skills he's used in his rise to become the GOP frontrunner. http://reason.com/reasontv/2015/10/06/donald-trump-is-a-master-wizard If you watch that, and then apply it to Trump's latest post about the Cruz scandal, it's pretty clear that Trump brought a flamethrower to a stick fight. And here's a bonus video on all the ways he's being underestimated and written off by experts.
bbedward Posted March 25, 2016 Report Posted March 25, 2016 Trump's statement was genius because he created doubt without actually really saying anything. He didn't say Cruz is guilty, but he basically did. If people read the art of the deal they'd respect his campaign much more - a lot of it is to the T
VaporTrail Posted March 26, 2016 Author Report Posted March 26, 2016 What's hilarious is how bad Cruz looks. He denies that he has anything to do with the pro-Cruz superPAC ad that slut-shamed Trump's wife for being a supermodel. Then, when he gets called out by the National Enquirer, he blames it on Trump. Now this will hold the media over at least until we're halfway to the next primary.
Clevfan4life Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 the "moist robot" theory should depress all of you. But I know it wont'.
MLD Woody Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 That was an interesting video. Trump manipulates the best, so he'll win. Not necessarily the best choice, but he'll make enough people think he is.
Westside Steve Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 That was an interesting video. Trump manipulates the best, so he'll win. Not necessarily the best choice, but he'll make enough people think he is. That's the bottom line in just about every situation. A Salesman needs to make his customer believe that he is purchasing the best, the most efficient, the most suited for his needs Etc product there is. I'm not positive that any of this is a product of forethought on Donald Trump's part, but it might be. WSS
MLD Woody Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 The beset candidate is sitting at home somewhere right now
Westside Steve Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 The beset candidate is sitting at home somewhere right now Any examples come to mind? WSS
MLD Woody Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 No idea. But they've got better things to do than deal with this nonsense I imagine
VaporTrail Posted March 27, 2016 Author Report Posted March 27, 2016 I wish that more centrist people with scientific backgrounds would throw their hat in the ring. Carson and Rand are a little to fanatical about conservativism for my tastes.
MLD Woody Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 I wish that more centrist people with scientific backgrounds would throw their hat in the ring. I would love this
