The Gipper Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I counted over 200 mock drafts from the WalterFootball Mock Draft database, and here are the results: Wentz chosen in 99 mock drafts Goff chosen in 72 mocks Bosa chosen in 17 mocks Ramsey chosen in 11 mocks Lynch chosen in 9 mocks Tunsil chosen in 7 mocks Hargreaves chosen in 2 mocks Nkemdiche and Connor Cook chosen in one each These mocks were all conducted either near the end of the college football season or after the season.
gumby73 Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Kind of a surprise when a DE Deforest Buckner makes more sense in a 3-4D with Starks gone. Cooper with A. Bryant behind him.Yikes!! Expre could be our Ramsey & Bosa not a 3-4 DE fit imosto. 1.QB 2.Tunsil or 3.Buckner/Jack. In that order
Guest Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 Connor Cook? Was that the Mad Magazine mock draft? Z
The Gipper Posted March 31, 2016 Author Report Posted March 31, 2016 Connor Cook? Was that the Mad Magazine mock draft? Z I think that was one of the early ones. Probably sometime early in both the NFL and college football season. In those early mocks the QBs that were high on the list were Cook and Hackenberg....along with Tunsil, Bosa, Nkemdiche and Treadwell. In November and December it was Lynch who started showing up in the top 5 of some mocks. The fact of the matter is.....Wentz did not make a single appearance in the Top 5 of any of these mock drafts until January 29. A good month after his season had ended. Tunsil and Bosa are the only two that have consistently stayed in the Top 5 of the mocks from the preseason to now. Myles Jack and Jalen Ramsey are also sort of came and went then came again. Goff did not start showing up until late in September.
