I would think that the conservative movement as well as the Republican Party might like to think twice about associating themselves these idiots. Kind of playing into the hands of the Saul Alinsky bunch.

This. They hired a person who confirms every suspicion about the GOP and Fox that some people hold.

"...they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them..." That kind of thing?

Look the part of what you would expect a guy to be babbling about atheists and the gays would look like.

Pretty much. Every caricature of a gop voter is white, male, redneck, overweight.

Except the Robertsons aren't idiots. and they are very, very real, and

have always been who they are since long before they ever

had any money. Anybody read any of their books besides me?

anybody ever stop in at West Munroe and ask people around town

about them?

Oh, they are very legit.

Willie Robertson has a business degree from Harding University.

they aren't idiots. I'm offended by your mean, terrible, wicked, bad and nasty slur.

I'll just go fix myself a late breakfast.

clothes? back the day, sure, short hair, sure...

as to who they ARE, no. The people around town all told us that the

Robertsons are EXACTLY like you see them on TV, and have always been,

even back in the days when they were poor.

ya have to read one of their books. It's a fascinating story.

another one liner. No comment about the SUBJECT, as almost always.

3 lines of nonsense that has nothing to do with the content of the thread.

you are a woodypeckerhead again. can't help yourself, it's just you.

It has as much to do with the thread as just about any other post here.

They're obviously pretty smart because they've turned their schtick into a lucrative empire. But they aren't genuine. They're playing to the group of people you belong in. That's fine, more power to them, just realize what they are

no, they are not fake woody. We've been there. Read 3 of their books. Phil Robertson

was a very irresponsible bad guy, his family was dirt poor. It's true.

And all sorts of people around West Munroe will tell the truth. They used to be very poor, back in the day,

and they were exactly who they are now...back then.

We've seen Phil in person, probably 8' away? Read Si's book - note the part about Vietnam and the military.

It's real.

It isn't just one book. I said BOOKS. the "s" makes it plural, woodypeckerhead.

Phil Robertson wrote a book about his sad, evil life of walking out on his wife

and two little sons, and all the trouble he got into.

And how his life changed, he found God, ....it's a rough book for him to write I suppose. but

it's a true story.

Si wrote a book, a lot of it was about how being in the army in Vietnam.

Willie and his wife wrote a book about how they met, etc, struggled being married in college,

etc

Jase wrote one, haven't read that one yet. The sad part of the stories about Phil and Kay overlap in different

books. It's a lot of amazing, sad, and funny stories.

Learn something about a subject, then come and chirp about it, birdbrain.
