...About time we start referring to him as President Trump

We could call the Titanic "unsinkable" too, but in both cases, it's a bit premature. I'll hold off on calling Clinton, Trump or Johnson as President until they actually win.

well, it's only a matter of time til obaMao heads to go there to limit the damage.

After all, he bitterly bashed Bush for not being at katrina asap.

but he goes golfing. And, it's like the debt ... "Bush's debt was UNPATRIOTIC"...

meanwhile, dirtbag obaMao raises it to greater heights by far. Nearly 20 TRILLION.

just another completely corrupt marxist, racist dicktater.

Obama to Louisiana Flood Victims As They Recover: “Don’t Be Racist!

"Earlier today, I talked about how Obama refused to cut short his golf filled vacation at Martha's Vineyard in lieu of the Louisiana flood victims. Obama famously harangued George W. Bush for flying over the state to see the damage for himself, and not actually gripping a rope by his teeth, plunging into the water, and airlifting out the stranded with one arm.

Needless to say, the American citizenry at large hasn't taken too kindly to Obama's hypocrisy. Neither he, nor Hillary are helping the Democratic case for continued reign in the White House. In fact nobody has shown up. Nobody, except - weirdly - Trump.

But Obama wasn't done making an democratic mascot of himself. From the Washington Times:

In a
issued Tuesday, the Obama administration, led by the Justice Department, warned Louisiana recipients of federal disaster assistance against engaging in “unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency).”

The guidance’s frameworks “highlight the importance of complying with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, addressing the needs of the whole community, and ensuring equal opportunity to access recovery efforts.”

So we have a President who won't visit Louisiana, though he trashed another President for not doing so enough not long ago, handing down "guidance" to the people actually suffering - people losing their homes and lives - not to be racist as they try to put themselves back together.

This is identity politics at its worst."

70,000 pounds worth of supplies Trump brought with him.

If Hillary sent a roll of toilet paper via USPS the media would be sucking her cock

A fully loaded dual tandem truck pulling a 48'-53' van trailor can legally weigh 80,000 lbs. a truck and trailor with 70,000 lbs would be so overweight. Do the math.

Matters not that the Governor of LA has stated:

"I am not complaining about our federal partnership in any way" Edwards said, responding to comments about the president not coming to Louisiana. "The president is welcome to visit whenever he wants to visit."

Edwards said a presidential visit could cause additional problems for flood recovery efforts. Obama's motorcade requires many roadways to be shutdown -- and many local streets are still closed because of the flooding. Also, a presidential visit puts a strain on law enforcement. First responders shouldn't be pulled away to deal with Obama, when they are needed for search and rescue missions still, Edwards said.

Obamas Hypocrisy On Full Display as He Golfs While Louisiana Drowns

For all his faults, at least Bush made efforts to show up when the south was hit hard by Katrina. He even landed in Biloxi Mississippi two days after the flyover in Louisiana to meet with victims of the flooding.

Not so with Obama. You won't hear a peep out of the media that had put Bush through the ringer for not actually grabbing a bucket and bailing water out of the state. Bush was accused of all sorts of nasty things, including once little bit from Kanye West, saying Bush didn't care about black people.

So I guess now we get to the ask the question. Does Obama care about black people?

http://www.redstate.com/brandon_morse/2016/08/19/obama-criticized-bush-flyover-golfing-louisiana-drowns/

The "fly-over" photo is in the dictionary as the definition of "bad optics". Bush's staff pleaded with him not to do the fly-over, let alone publish a photo of it... and they were right to do so. It was a self-inflicted wound.

The optics of golfing while the waters are subsiding? Not the best, but they have to be enhanced. Have to say y'all are doing your part... just as the left did with the material W handed them...

well, it's only a matter of time til obaMao heads to go there to limit the damage.

The flood damage has been done. Focus now is on the recovery and the heads of the responsible departments, who do not cause diversion of resources needed to secure that recovery, are on site.

damage control - not working. Trying to defend obamao at this point is pointless.

I wonder if there were any floods during Washington's presidency. I'll bet he didn't

get there to help and see the damage...maybe even played checkers...

"obamao isn't so bad, he's good"

what a crock

Obama has shown where his priorities are more than once. When James Foley was beheaded he broke away from the golf course for a few minutes to give a quick sympathy card type speech and minutes later he was on the links with his golfing pals high fiving them...

The prime minister of England who also was on vacation when the news came out about the beheading quickly ended his vacay and went back to London as the ISIS murderer had an English accent...

Had to break this one out into its own post...

This is the single most egregious distortion of facts by a headline and an article I have seem in this forum in a while...

Obama to Louisiana Flood Victims As They Recover: “Don’t Be Racist!

The guidance’s frameworks “highlight the importance of complying with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, addressing the needs of the whole community, and ensuring equal opportunity to access recovery efforts.”

The guidance as seen below is not aimed at "Flood victims" or "Louisiana recipients of federal disaster assistance" as the "article" maintains and the headline proclaims. It's biased, hack "journalism" at its worst.

The guidance is aimed at "recipients of federal financial assistance engaged in emergency management." In other words if the Feds give locals goods, funds, equipment, etc., it must be distributed equitably. It's reminding emergency management of the law and it is doing so based upon lessons learned from responses to other recent disasters.

C'mon people... show a little discernment... a little healthy skepticism. Don't accept every spoonful of shit because it's branded as a "sugar cure for Obama"... even if it's offered by one of your preferred media sources. Some of it really is shit...

OBF, still love you, man... Your openness to the polls has been noteworthy, but maybe extend it just a little further...

I've underlined the quoted passage in text from the original below. The link below is the same document the "article" included a link, but willfully bastardized in its interpretation.

The text of the linked 16-page document clearly states:

The United States Departments of Justice (DOJ), Homeland Security (DHS), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Transportation (DOT) are issuing this guidance to assist recipients of federal financial assistance engaged in emergency management (e.g., state and local emergency management agencies, law enforcement, healthcare service providers, housing and transit authorities) to ensure that individuals and communities affected by disasters do not face unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency) in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI).

In the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we have learned many critical lessons about how recipients of federal financial assistance engaged in emergency management activities can more effectively ensure that all members of the community receive services, regardless of race, color, or national origin. Pursuant to Presidential Policy Directive 8, the Federal government issued the National Response Framework and the National Disaster Recovery Framework, guides on national response to all types of disasters and emergencies and effective recovery support to disaster-impacted areas.

The Recovery Framework notes that “care must be taken to assure that actions, both intentional and unintentional, do not exclude groups of people based on race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), religion, sex or disability.

Obama irks La. flood victims with memo warning them not to discriminate

President Obama has refused so far to survey the Louisiana flood disaster, but he did let state and local officials know that he’s watching to make sure they don’t engage in racial discrimination.

In a 16-page guidance issued Tuesday, the Obama administration, led by the Justice Department, warned Louisiana recipients of federal disaster assistance against engaging in “unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency).”

The guidance’s frameworks “highlight the importance of complying with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, addressing the needs of the whole community, and ensuring equal opportunity to access recovery efforts.”

Needless to say, some Louisiana residents were offended, including the American Conservative’s Rod Dreher, who took umbrage at receiving an anti-discrimination lecture from Washington, D.C., as locals struggle to rescue, house and feed their neighbors.

“[E]verywhere you look you can find black folks and white folks loving on each other, helping each other through this crisis,” Mr. Dreher said in a Thursday post.

He referred to the guidance as a “long bureaucratic memo” issued by the “Department of Justice and many other agencies of the executive branch overseen by He Who Cannot Be Troubled to Leave Martha’s Vineyard.”

Mr. Obama has come under fire for sticking to his two-week golf vacation on Martha’s Vineyard instead of taking time to survey the flooding in the Baton Rouge area, which has left 13 dead.

The administration guidance cited instances of discrimination in Gulf Coast states after Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita in 2005, such as “numerous media reports [that] showed images of African Americans stranded on roofs in New Orleans.”

“These images exposed significant inequalities in access to emergency response and recovery efforts,” said the guidance.

The memo also cited an ad aimed at evacuees saying that the renter preferred “two white females.”

Mr. Dreher said such discrimination is wrong and Louisianans need to “own our mistakes,” but that residents knee-deep in rescue efforts don’t appreciate being painted with the administration’s broad brush.

He quoted an email from a local named Jimmy who said, “Not many things get me seething, but this does,” calling Obama administration officials “dividers instead of uniters.”

“Look no further than this ‘guidance’ press release telling us in the middle of it to be sure not to be racist, y’all,” said the email.

“Meanwhile, our President enjoys golfing and Martha’s Vineyard and sunny skies. No visits, not even that reviled [George W.] Bush flyover. Just politically motivated, radically laced memos.”

Tour 0 it's just race baiting for political maneuvering purposes, which very much

defines obamao's and higgardly's entire legacies.

You can tapdance like a fairy on bath salts if you want to, but that is what it is.

Your childish rantings are just putting lipstick on an ugly, mangey boar.

Well so much for discernment...

Just because the right wing media holds a headline circle jerk, does not make something true. But it is a great way to manufacture an issue or make a minor one seem major.

Exactly one headline of all OBF's latest search results got the "memo's" intended audience correct. Every other one is a lie. That are those that cannot see that speaks volumes about them.

BTW... the DOJ release also caution victims against the frauds that occur in the aftermath of natural disasters... the rotten bastards and their black president.

I have been a flood victim... 3' in my LaPorte, TX house from Hurricane Ike. Renovators, honest and fraudulent, descended from all over the country. Neighbor across the street was taken to the cleaners by fraud... all his insurance money gone... house poorly repaired where repairs were done at all.

The lack of discernment is on your part Tour. Louisiana residents have a president too busy golfing to come down to see the destruction but from afar sends his bureaucratic memo right in the middle of people scrambling to save whatever they can. I guess now Obama has been shamed into making an appearance on Tuesday.

Looking at the Washington Times story they are much more factual and truthful than lying CNN will ever be:

WV got wrecked with floods this year. 23 people died. None of the major candidates or the President stopped in.

The media of all stripes didn't politicize it because there wasn't anything to gain. So the whole gang of them can suck my dick.

I will give you that Logic....sad but true.

If the flooding had happened in W. Va. had happened closer to the presidential election I am sure it would have been different.

I know politics plays a huge part in this and trying to use a tragedy for political gain. I know I personally want to see Obama's hypocritical feet held to the fire for playing politics with Katrina in Louisiana as a pretense to attack Bush when Obama can't even leave the golf course when something like this happens on his watch as president.

Sorry, OBF, discernment was the least offensive descriptive I could muster.

Two days after to be precise OBF... raises something I've been meaning to point out.

Hurricane storm surges hit fast and are gone almost nearly as fast. Ike kept my LaPorte, TX home flooded by Galveston Bay less than 12 hours. That's 12 hours to rise, crest at ~3' and fall.

Not the case with river flooding... especially when rainfall in the immediate area is involved. Flooding can last days... even longer if levees are involved which I heard at one time was the case. And additional flooding from persistent rains in the area was "watched" out for last week as over an additional 5" fell in addition to the prior week's 20+".

I'm 300-ish miles NW of Baton Rouge. We had almost as much rain as they did last week (4.5"). Today is the first full day of sun in almost two weeks excepting a half-day late last week. This was a massive, persistent, slow moving system that produced a thousand year rain in southern LA.

The devastation of the Louisiana Flood of 2016 continues Friday (Aug. 19) with floodwaters still threatening homes. Meanwhile, thousands of residents are returning to survey damage and see what belongings can be salvaged.

http://www.nola.com/weather/index.ssf/2016/08/louisiana_flood_friday_updates.html

and...

In the small community of St. Amant, Mr. Trump’s last stop, some homes were still nearly submerged, eight days after the flooding began.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/20/us/politics/donald-trump-louisiana-flood.html?_r=0

My point is not to deny the optics; they are what people see them as. My point is that all flooding is not the same.
