calfoxwc
Cal, I am super pro gun but correlation =/= causation. We don't know what else was going on during the time period that the info covers. Sure. It looked good, though. Getting rid of all cars would save so many lives and devastating injuries, especially to children. It's the people who use tools, not the tools. Tour2ma
Ah... now per capita figures are favored... Facts can be biting, but not in a vacuum. Your snapshots in time mean nothing. The real question is "Are the rates of those various crimes rising or falling?" Turns out with the exception of Sexual Assault, they are all falling... at least through 2013. Which of the changes are statistically significant? Can't say with certainty without a rigorous statistical test, but odds are that changes of 25% or more are significant. http://www.aic.gov.au/dataTools/facts/vicViolentRate.html
