Good for Trump. It's nice seeing the corrupt media lemmings get played by him.

Media Outraged After Trump Tricks Them To Cover Endorsements From Military Heroes

WASHINGTON — The media showed up to the presidential ballroom of the new Trump International Hotel on Friday morning expecting Donald Trump to take questions about whether he still questions if President Obama was born in the United States.

Instead, they got more than a half hour of a variety of military heroes — generals, medal of honor recipients and a gold star wife — expressing support for the Republican nominee. And it all aired live on the cable news networks.

Before the event, Trump tweeted: “I am now going to the brand new Trump International, Hotel D.C. for a major statement.” That was interpreted by the press to mean he was going to address “birther questions.”

Realizing Trump was not using the occasion to address that subject — and instead focus it on the military — many in the press were not happy — and vented on Twitter.

At the very end of the campaign event, Trump finally addressed the topic the media was there to hear. “Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy. I finished it.”

“President Barack Obama was born in the United States,” Trump said. “Period. Now we all want to get back to making America strong again.”

Once again, the American news media gets totally played by Trump. Wall-to-wall coverage. We’re all guilty.

Trump’s campaign hyped up change on birther issue. And now that TV networks carrying it live, we’ve had 20 mins of veterans endorsing Trump

18 months into this cable networks are still letting Trump hijack them for free airtime — ad time — by promising a “major announcement’

Many reporters, some standing on chairs, began shouting questions over the applause from the guests in attendance. But Trump, having accomplished what he wanted, took none.

Sidney Blumenthal, former Clinton senior adviser, is the one who started the birther stuff.

She wanted to bring him to the white house too after being appointed SoS, but Obama refused.

--

The whole birther nonsense making all the headlines again is the Clinton-controlled media getting desperate now that Trump is schlonging her in all the polls.

I don't think anybody believes it was a coincidence that they all decided to run a story about pepe being a racist nazi frog within 24 hours of each other. Definitely collusion.

While I'm not a Trump fan, this is funny as hell. Not only did he once again get free air-time, he also

used the self-important media to promote his new, upscale hotel. Oh, the butthurt!

As for the Detroit minister interrupting to admonish him for attacking Hillary---Joe Scarborough asked

Bill Kristol this morning that if it had been Hillary attacking Trump, could you imagine in a million years

that minister admonishing her to "not give a political speech"?

it's easy to be wrong when you figure the refusal to release the birth certificate all along,

was a setup to discredit the opposition. Obamao created the questions, then ridiculed the questions,

then finally release his

"birth certificate". Are we finally going to admit that along with all the other serious corrupt actions of obamao...

there is the matter of him getting financial support for having been a foreign student? His previous name that

was changed?

No? got it. as usual, lib style.

Slick, but we are just going to let go that Trump made a fool of himself with this Barack Obama not being born here crap just to have to admit he was wrong?

...we are? got it.

Except he used it as a platform to show the GOP base and Tea Party that he was one of them for the primaries. And now he's using it to normalize his image from the batshit crazy caricature we saw in the primary. Yeah, short term, he looked like an idiot. Long term, he's the GOP nominee now and will soon be favored to win the presidency. What a fool.

So he gets a pass to look like an idiot for the world to see because hes pandering to the equally stupid. Thats damn sure a country to believe in!

Hillary's closest advisor is the one that started the birther stuff.

Obama would not allow her to hire Blumenthal to do anything because of his personal attacks against Obama - and we know she stayed in touch based on her released and leaked emails.

This has been debunked 100 times over. You are better than that.

What has been debunked about it?

Debunked by vox or the Huffington Post maybe.

The birther stuff and other personal Obama attacks came before Trump from the most corrupt politician in history

Oh politifact nice

"Hillary herself never publicly spread the birther stuff, just her closest advisor who had her ear did"

http://www.newsmax.com/t/newsmax/article/748733?section=Newsfront&keywords=sidney-blumenthal-obama-birther-issue&year=2016&month=09&date=16&id=748733&aliaspath=%2FManage%2FArticles%2FTemplate-Main

It was Sidney Blumenthal, who Hillary remained in contact with despite all the lies he tried to spread against Obama.

It's a double edged sword, unless you believe CNN which we already know is in Clintons pocket.

That article says all the facts and data from my source an untrue because of one face to face conversation that we have zero clue ever happened. Again, you're better than that. This crap is just not true because it never happened.

I'm not voting for either of these giant douches or turd sandwiches, but this stuff drives me crazy.

The birther shit predates Trump, right as Hillary was tanking against Obama.

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/clintons-2008-campaign-manager-on-whether-they-promoted-rumors-about-obamas

The media is dredging it up again on Clinton's orders and Trump is owning it pretty well.

Yet the media isn't talking about the emails that show you can buy ambassadorships by donating to the DNC and Clinton foundation.

Ok, so if Trump's campaign manager started spreading a rumor that Gary Johnson was a pedophile you wouldn't hold trump accountable for that? Is that what you're saying? Because, yes, you would.

So one unpaid staffer forwarded an email one time and was instantly fired and that was never used in her campaign. Donald trump directly called out obama several times. How are those things remotely equal? How does that in any way mean clinton started the conspiracy crap? Come on man, that is definition of grasping at straws.

This shit is proven false over and over again. I cant provide more information than the multiple sources I linked so if you choose not to believe it theres nothing I can do.

and yet, jrb, if you would go research it...it's true. Even the hard core loyal dem strategist

on Fox News admitted it was true. You're just being all completely soaked in Egypt.

Based on what? Youve sourced one article that says someone told him face to face he did it. According to me BB loves hillary because I talked to his gifriend face to face. You see how easy that is to make up?

And you're taking what politifact is saying at face value. That website has such an obvious skew to the left, that I don't trust a damn thing they have to say. There is one standard for the things that Bernie, Hillary, and Obama say, and there is another standard for the things that Republicans say.
