I turned 15 in 1969. Also the year my brother was killed in Vietnam. It fucked me up pretty bad for awhile.

Sorry to hear that Diehard. I turned 14 that year and I remember my neighbor friend got killed that year in Nam too. He had just gotten over there when he stepped on a mine and was killed. He also had just gotten married before going to Nam. When I was a kid I used to get some of his old toys and stuff from his parents which I was thrilled to get. I was from a large family and we didn't get toys outside of Christmas or birthdays because of finances and and getting some of his hand me down stuff was like getting Christmas. When I think of how his life was cut short for serving our country and all he lost out of with just getting married and never having a chance to have a family I get real upset and have no patience with the knuckleheads like Kaepernick who refuse to stand for the national anthem. Standing for the anthem is to honor soldiers like this and your brother.

My cousin was in Laos and Cambodia, he was lucky - he got shot twice, his tank got hit

by a mine, and they wouldn't let him go back to the war anymore - it was winding down.

He kept going back, so his brothers wouldn't get called up. He was never the same when he

came back, it took years for him to smile again, his parents said.. The only think he ever told me

about it, was that he lost a lof of friends over there, and he changed the subject.

Tough times.

That's a deflection. If you're going to attack someone's moral compass for voting for Trump, I want to hear how you justify your own morality voting for Clinton who has shown herself to be, well, pretty immoral. Not to mention I'm not a big trump supporter. I'm no ed. I think he's a giant filthy douchebag. I simply consider him a slightly better political candidate than Clinton who actively toes the line of criminal behavior.

Because I do not condone the actions of Trump does NOT make me in support of Hilary. Or does everyone on this board see things in such black and white?

I am NOT voting for either candidate. I'll make it my God damn sig if I have too.

I'm asking this honestly... because I've said it more times than I care to count and there is no way you've missed it unless you are intentionally ignoring me. Are you fucking Retard? Do you have the downs? Did you pass 4th grade?

For Christ sake, it's literally in my post that you quoted. You do NOT have to support the opposite side of the candidate you've denounced.

It's not that I ignore you it's that I'm more of an infrequent visitor here these days and I can't be bothered to go through every post because gee whiz what does tiamat think. I Just Assumed You'd vote for someone who had a chance to win, but if you're just throwing your vote away in protest that's cool too. Because there is no earthly way Johnson or stein could win.

I'm not over here much either for obvious reasons but when I spell something so clearly out in a post that you not only quote but then use an example of, you should probably take a few moments to grasp the material.

I'll apologize about my harsh tone. It's been a long ass week. I'll edit appropriately.

Michigan, not VA. Also they have MI as Clinton almost +5 so I'm not sure how that's a toss-up according to them anyway.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_elections_electoral_college_map.html

VA was earlier today.

Trump trending strong up and within MoE in new polls is probably why.

Then you must express your disdain for Hillary as you do for Trump. If you only show disdain for one then it's hardly unreasonable to assume you lean in favor of the other.

Are you jewing me? I'm not showing vitrol towards her because she isn't the topic of discussion at the moment.

But she's a cosmetic, vile, untrustworthy individual that fits right in with your typical Washington material.

You good now, boo? Or do I need to talk shit on the Steelers to prove I'm a fucking Browns fan as well?

more a retort to your nonsense. We have to pick a pres, but you are complaining that I support Trump,

who isn't a football player, and I support high character in football players.

My reply is justified, Mr. Touronlineforhiggardly

I suppose Trump stiffing his sub contractors was OK? Donald is every bit as slimy as Hillary, just in a different way. Do you want liberal slime in the Oval Office, or Conservative slime?

No, I am questioning your moral compass for supporting Trump.

However, it does explain why you have shifted your demonization of all things Dem into overdrive...

Impressive... I never would have believed you had another gear left. Tour

***************************************************

MY moral compass? Let's start again.

A. A president WILL BE SELECTED between Trump and Traitor Teflon Higgardly.

B. It's easy to shift into overdrive - look at what we've found out already about the serious, severe level

of corruption of higgardly, and the democratic party and their dimwitted ignorant hard core welfare state voters.

C. Regarding Higgardly's piz poor character, dereliction of duty to her country while IN OFFICE AS SECRETARY

of STATE... her proven lies to the FBI and the public in general, her secret of saying one thing in private and

another, even contradictory another, to the public, more of her lies, her making $$$$$$$$$$ of dollars trading

favors for foreign countries...

I can't think of one lie told by Trump, can't think of one violation of his gov office...oh wait, HE has never been in office.

So, my moral compass is, I believe Trump. He isn't my favorite, but he's there, he won, and he is a saint and a hero

to everybody whose moral compass is non-existent in you demowhackic voters.

Where's the 10 other Republican Candidates I could have supported- Rubio, Fiorina, Kaisch, the list goes on. This isn't the Apprentice Donald- like you think if Congress doesn't agree with you, you're just going to be able to fire them? Your Mexican Wall is DOA to get funding. Um, apparently your minions do though. Man, talk about a disgusting least common denominator presidential election, how did we ever get to this point?

I'm torn- because in my mind, a vote for Gary is a vote for Hillary.

Well, I was not a Trump guy for a good while. I really supported Carson, he didn't have a chance,

too quiet, etc.

I supported Cruz, then realized he had a great chance, but he ended up being a jackass.

Trump won, and I started listening to him - he is sincere, is spending millions of his own money, and I believe

he really believes and is saying what has been on most Americans' minds about the corrupt in gov garbage that is now

beyond being all wet in Egypt.

Paul Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Jeb Bushleague, Rubio...all players who don't really have the nads to stand up

to the corrupt, extremely vicious left. I admire Pence - excellent choice.

Meanwhile, higgardly has proven, in gov, that she is 100 percent corrupt, and only interested in herself and getting wealth,

and her way.

She's against our 2nd Amendment, and she's lower class than obaMao, she's a toad. Just nasty, dishonest,

and has no qualms about thinking she is so above the law, she will lie a thousand times, even to the FBI,

and to the American people. She officially says one thing to placate the corrupt dem base, and another in private.

But her selling out our secrets and our gov, and the four Americans killed in Benghazi, when she did NOTHING...

Come on, Trump has warts, but higgardly is the entire Borg on Star Trek.

Hoorta speaking of how Congress can't be fired, that much is true but how many executive orders are we saddled with? How again did Obamacare get forced it down our throats?

No president not Obama Kennedy Clinton Reagan, none of them handled very much of the day-to-day operation of the United States. It's all done by committee and I have absolutely no doubt that's the way Donald Trump will run things. He doesn't wait tables or deal cards at his casinos. He doesn't do the payroll or stock the bars with liquor. He probably didn't personally decide which contractors weren't going to get paid or why if they actually didn't and werent just disgruntled whiners which you can find in any organization has more than 20 employees. He hires people, competent people, to do those things just as he will when he's president. Just as President Obama has done it's only that some of his selections haven't done a very good job especially the one running for president now.

Also if you choose to blame Donald Trump for unhappy contractors who didn't get paid for one reason or another, remembering that he probably had little or no personal interaction with these low-level affairs, then you must place the blame deaths of every Americans at Benghazi at the feet of Hillary Clinton. Then decide if you want to throw your vote away or not.

except his VP is vehemently against the 2nd Amendment.....

Weld says he opposes gun control now. I will take him at his word. Not that I think Weld matters. Johnson is the healthiest candidate running. VPs become a decoration if the prez is healthy.

Also my vote this election is more for getting the Libertarian party over the 5% threshold to get more money in the next election.

This quoted guy says he changed his position and everyone believes him.

"I generally oppose gun control," he wrote then, "but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today's internet technology we should be able to tell within 72 hours if a potential gun owner has a record."

I wish Hillary voters in WV would vote third party, any third party, to get one of them over the hump. Trump is going to win WV in a landslide so might as well make the best use of your vote.

Trump said he would "bring coal back" so the local yokels bought right into it. Nothing is bringing WV coal back. I work in the energy industry in WV. The quality coal that produces the cost efficient BTUs per pound is pretty well dried up. Even if the EPA weren't involved, WV was looking at 3 years max for continued mining of coal that was worth even buying.

Milking 3 more years would have only prolonged the planning for some sort of future beyond coal. The dumb shit politicians here have zero concept of how to drum up business. They priced out any other industry with heavy taxation to protect coal and now that coal is done they are squalling about how the state is going broke. Well no shit.

Kasich, Fiorina, Rubio, Bush... None of those are any less slimy than Trump.

I'd like to see a third party get over the hump for federal funding and such - but I'm just not crazy about the candidates the libertarians and greens put up (the only two with a chance of getting a decent amount of votes due to ballot access)

Gary Johnson is not the Ron Paul type of libertarian everybody loves and Bill Weld is basically just another establishment insider.

Jill Stein is principled and I respect what she's doing, but she's much more of a political activist than a serious presidential candidate (she's no Nader)

I think you're wrong about that. He even supports banning all semi-automatic weapons, like my semi-auto

.22. And, he would, as an eventual? tie breaker vote, vote for totally banning the 2nd Amendment if the pres

or any other dem tells him to. Your vote for a third party is a vote for higgardly, and big, serious trouble if she gets elected.

Trump deserves a chance, and he and the clinton mafia queenpin doesn't. That is your real choice. And not voting for

Trump, is a vote for higgardly. Your independents are not any kind of possible winner. Zilch, nada - wasted vote.
