Man I'm Happy...

One of Mr. Trump's biggest challenges will be to reverse the perception that he created with his own words. Some of his statements fueled the liberal media and provided an eisal to paint him as a racist. I pray that through his actions and "new" words he can do that. I'm sure we all can agree that right or wrong the current perception is problematic.

Doesn't exactly sound like an inclusive, uniting message there...

I was listening to some breakdown which kind of points to the fact that the middle class voted for Donald Trump. Not poor but middle and upper-middle-class people. And not necessarily all white but blacks and Hispanics and Indians and Asians who are middle and upper-middle-class as opposed too poor. Not Advanced college degrees butt people with maybe a bachelor's or two or three years of college. And we're talking 55% not 95%. Of course the narrative from the left-wing media is that it's uneducated whites. Uneducated meaning no Masters or doctorate degree.

So there's that. But it suits your narrative to write it off as racism.

- I really don't think there was an active conspiracy to lie about polling results.

- Trump isn't the one I'm worried about on the gay rights side...

Or black people. I don't understand why he's being labeled racist and homophobic. Except that's what the left does to tarnish their opponents.

How about we get past the left this and the right this and just look at the record. You may argue whether or not Trump is being racist in the instances pointed out in the article below, but here are a couple snippets.

O’Donnell quoted Trump saying,“ Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys wearing yarmulkes… Those are the only kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else…Besides that, I tell you something else. I think that’s guy’s lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks.”

O’Donnell’s report was shocking, but Trump did not contest it at the time. In 1997 he was interviewed for Playboy by author Mark Bowden and he confirmed that the O’Donnell book was “probably true.”

Two years later, when he was seeking the reform party nomination for president, Trump changed his tune. “I’ve never said anything like that,” he told Tim Russert on Meet The Press.

and...

A telling moment arose during a 1993 Congressional committee hearing on gambling casino operated by Indian tribes. Trump, who considered the tribes competitors, offered a flourish of insensitivity during his testimony when he said, “They don’t look like Indians to me and they don’t look like Indians to Indians.”

There is plenty more here:

A so they vote for the party of Robert Byrd and LBJ. Got it.

B they most certainly don't look like Indians they look like multi-millionaire businessmen. We were stupid in the first place to not just a simile the Indians. We tried to make pets of them.

Not sure what you're getting at, I am just pointing out that the questions about Trump's racism are based on his record, not some liberal bias against him.

Fair enough. The first one was obviously a joke.

And the second is perfectly understandable since anybody that claims to be of Indian Heritage gets a free ride from the government in the casino business (etc) and Mr. Trump is a private entrepreneur in that same business.

And I repeat we should have just assimilated them. Rather than to make them pets.

Do yours. The magna carta guaranteed things like a right to a fair trial, that nobody is above the law, even the king, protection from loss of property etc without due process, basically acting as the basis for your constitution. It was also written and signed into law in 1215.

Haven't several kings suspended the Magna Carta?

Well King Charles suspended Parliament and ignored it.

Again, I think Trump is not that socially conservative at all based on his history (immigration may be a different story. We'll need to see what was real and what was "get Billy Bob to vote for me")

Doesn't Pence actually defend gay "conversion therapy"? I'm sure a lot of tea party Reps that road in on Trump feel the same. That would be more worrisome than Trump.

Pence was simply to appease the party, nothing more. A democrat was reportedly in the top running for the VP position anyway (Michael Flynn)

Pence probably also doubles as insurance against any assassination attempts.

To the victor go the spoils, deal with it.

I will... and hopefully better than you dealt with the past 4 years... I like my chances.

See the difference between us, homey, is I'm not an ideologue.

Not what I did, Steve, but read into my posts what you will.

Here is the first and only "racism" comment I will make: If those who are "white supremacists" voted, then they voted for Trump. That does not mean if you voted for Trump, you are a white supremacist. Also does not mean Trump will do what they hope he will do.

And for the record Dems have lost the white, college-educated demographic for 60 years. HRC did better than any Dem with them during that time. She simply did not win them over as polls indicated she might.

And "uneducated" means non-degreed.... not "non-advanced degreed".

I don't recall if I was responding to you but I don't think I accused you of attributing your girls loss to racism. That's the hardcore left idiots commenting on MSNBC, van Jones Tavis Smiley Etc.

But the narrative is 'ignorant white rural Hillbillies'. And calling people without a degree uneducated is a crock of shit elitist and Woody like.

Because only a jerk off would call Trump's supporters White supremacists.

Unless you consider yourself a hip hop Thug, or crack dealer. I'm sure that voting Bloc went for the Hildebeest.

;)

That is the definition for not having a degree as far as polling goes. That is what I'm saying.

If you want to go into some big thing about how you can learn and not go to college, or you can be successful without a degree, or whatever, go for it. That's not the point I was making and appears you misunderstood

so, someone who goes for a degree for three of four years, but then joins the service, goes into the work

force out of need for whatever reason.... is "uneducated" ???

Actually what I am saying the truth uneducated is not defined by not having a college degree.

Anyone who would use it in that manner, and I mean anyone, he's doing so to be a prick and an asshole.

It's not the uneducated Steve. How many educated black people showed in masses for Obama? Ya my point. It's not being brainwashed by the libs; not being educated.

That's Trump's defense against SJW assassins. If he gets taken down, then we get a guy who wants to overturn Roe v Wade and electrocute the gays.

I guess he still has to watch out for the GOPe assassins, but hey, at least we know the lefties won't take him out.

I wasn't mocking black people I was being silly with DieHard. If I wanted to mock a black person it wouldn't be on a public forum.

Part of the basis of Roe vs. Wade was the viability of the fetus which has changed greatly in these days of modern medical technology. But you knew that right? Right?
