BROWNS Week 13 bye, so let's watch their draft picks instead and the BROWNS current death grip on the #1 pick.

BEREA, Ohio - The Browns traded Barkevious Mingo to the Patriots on Thursday for a fifth-round draft pick in 2017. That adds another pick to an already bulging collection.

After a 14-pick haul in 2016, the Browns are set up to have a similar influx of new players at next year's draft. Here's how the Browns' 2017 draft picks currently look round-by-round:

2017 NFL Draft

First round: (2) Own pick and the Eagles' pick.

Second round: (2) Own pick and the Titans' pick.

Third round: (1) Own pick.

Fourth round: (3) Three *compensatory picks due to free agent losses in 2016.

Fifth round: (3) Own pick, the Patriots' pick and a *compensatory pick due to free agent loss in 2016.

Sixth round: (1) Own pick.

Seventh round: (1) The Colts' pick.

NOTE: The Browns have conditionally surrendered their 2017 fourth-round pick to the Eagles as a result of their 2016 draft-day trade. The Browns' seventh-round pick was conditionally surrendered to the 49ers as a result of the 2015 deal to acquire punter Andy Lee.

* The NFL awards 32 additional draft picks each year at the end of rounds 3-7, primarily to teams that lost more free agents than they signed the previous offseason. The compensatory picks mentioned in this post are based off projections by overthecap.com.

OK... but it'd help if you'd told us who our picks will be... ;)

Well for sure we want PHI, TEN and NE to lose plus SF and others to win to guard that coveted #1 pick....surely they won't trade down again this year, right?

OK....is Mingo even playing any at all?

So, besides Mingo...who else are we supposed to watch? The prospect for next year's draft? Only Allen from Bama is playing this weekend...among the top 3 candidates: Trubisky/Garrett/Allen.

Someone mentioned Tim Williams with our second choice in round one. We could keep an eye on him.

Watson....if you think he could still be in the QB mix?

Wisc OT Ramczyk ...for our top 2d round pick?

Who else do you suggest we watch?

WELL....besides the other NFL teams that will challenge the BROWNS for their #1 pick and all the new extra picks they can get for trading down with it? :):(

All of those NCAA FOOTBALL Championship Games and the better players on those teams.

....and W.Michigan whacking Ohio but Colorado vs Washington just coming up on Friday night football.

Nice recall from just high school German, not exactly the easiest language to remember....

..... <whistling and tapping fingers on tablet> as bad as the 0-12 BROWNS have been sure is strange with a week 13 bye.

0 12 we have a BINGO, hold your cards.....
