On the one hand, I like the idea of states controlling their own educational systems. Yet on the other hand, it opens the door to perpetuating the partisanship that already exists in the country. Red States and Blue States will diverge even more in what and how children are educated with. They will get widely different perspectives on US History, evolution, religion, ensuring that as adults, partisanship will only be perpetuated. Leftists/radicals always want to control education. State governments are far more responsive to the people of the state. The U.S. doe needs to go. It's too easy for the democrat feds to put illegals, floods of immgrants into republican states like Texas,. etc., then to ridicule the lack of performance of that states' schools based on federal standards. obamao and co did that with education, the FBI, Justice Dept, EPA, Homeland Security, BATF, IRS, and undermined our military.
