calfoxwc
The joke about wmd's didn't have to be such a huge outrageous reaction. But some of the same people laugh at the 9/11 and Rush's kidneys... Did Bush wish harm on anyone? No. Did Bush make light of a tragedy? NO. His joke about finding wmd's one of these days was on himself. And, wmd's, for the millionth? time, was not the only reason we went into Iraq. But, does anybody who STILL complains about Bush making that joke... criticise the liberal left everytime they ever made it a political football vs Bush? Ever? It's okay for any Dem in office to do it, any media to do it... but if Bush does it to himself, then it's a really bad thing because soldiers are dying in Iraq? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? So, it's a ridiculous stretch to connect Bush's joking about the derision on him by the left/media. Would anybody also say, that every political use of the acronym "wmd" against Bush was also inappropriate while soldiers die in the Mideast? Those lib quotes ending up on Arabic tv to the terrorists' glee? While American soldiers are dying in Iraq ????????????????????? How about Murtha condemning the soldiers ahead of time as murderers at Haditha? That funny? No complaints? Hairy @@ Reid - "The war is lost"... encouraging the enemy to kill more of our soldiers? I wouldn't have made the wmd joke myself, but it certainly made this forum. But I don't see libs on this forum bringing up the 9/11 and Rush's kidneys should fail. Tends to always be that way. Libs' "outrage" is feigned per their politics. So, that's why I brought it up. The difference was the point.
