calfoxwc Posted May 11, 2009 Report Share Posted May 11, 2009 I was just thinking, eating a late lunch til I go back out and disc the fields.. and spray the fruit trees and kill poison ivy vines and leaves... eh...never mind... but the left is openly mis-quoting quoting Rush Limbaugh's words, in extreme dishonest fashion, (like is that anything knew?). We keep hearing that Rush wants our country to fail. We keep hearing that Rush wants Obama to fail to fix America's problems. What he DID SAY, was that he wanted Obama's socialist policies to fail, because they would hurt our country in a very serious way. But still, the dishonesty eeks from leftists everywhere. So, I ask, why the dishonesty? Why ridicule the opposition for what they did NOT say, so you can get the upper hand? Is it a Saul Alinski mentality that is encouraging liberals to board ship and do the same? But, when a speaker at an event where Obama attends, says she wants Rush's kidneys to fail... what is up with that? A serious personal attack with a back in the older days unheard of viciousness. Me too. Like Pelosi demanded the Bush agenda be stopped. and on and on and on..... Rather than the willingness to tear down the other side in the name of power I would much rather see our government fix the problem and then step over each other taking credit for fixing it, but that might be to much to ask for. I think this recession will get better as every other one has. I think there's some waste right not but I don't care much. No need to freak out over every dime as we have for 8 years. I give Obama a qualified pass for the early reaction. But the huge expenditures and taxes on the back end arent spurring the natural reccovery. Personally I think the huge deficits and the inflation will be terrible for the econmy in the future and for many years. I'd bet every Dem voter here feels that way whether they'll admit it or not. Rush wants our country to SUCCEED and our country will be badly damaged by Obama's socialist policies. I mean, seriously. Why complaints about Rush saying he wanted Obama's destructive socialist policies to fail? Why complaints about Bush joking about himself per the overwheming political use of the wmd thing against him? But, that's just politically oriented outrage to me. I laughed out loud (I refuse to abbreviate) numerous times. The Rush/kidney thing probably went a little too far, but I consider the source, and the simple audience the line was delivered to, and don't give it a second thought. Just me though.
