The Gipper
Here is my updated Team of the Decade listing for the NBA. Recall how this point system works (same for all 3 sports that I keep track of here: MLB, NFL, NBA): The Champion gets 10 points, the runnerup gets 6 points, the two losers of the conference finals get 3 points, and any other team that makes the playoffs gets 1 point. We have gone now through 8 years of the 2010s...and as you will see, the ultimate title is up for grabs at this point. Point totals for the 8 years are accumulated up to this point. Here is the current order: Miami Heat 34 pts Warriors 28 pts. Spurs 26 pts. Cavaliers 23 pts Thunder 18 pts. Celtics 16 pts Mavericks 15 pts. Lakers 13 pts. Hawks 10 pts. Pacers 10 pts. Grizzlies 9 pts. Bulls 8 pts. Rockets 7 pts. Clippers 6 pts. Raptors 6 pts. Blazers 6 pts Magic 5 pts. Nuggets 4 pts Bucks 4 pts. Jazz 3 pts Knicks 3 pts. Suns 3 pts. Nets 3 pts. Wizards 3 pts. Hornets 3 pts. Pelicans 2 pts. 76ers 2 pts Pistons 1 pt. Kings -0- pts. T-wolves -0- pts.

mjp28
Miami Heat 34 pts Warriors 28 pts. Spurs 26 pts. Cavaliers 23 pts <--- CAVS #23 how ironic. Seems strange seeing Cleveland and a "decade of" designation of any kind.....lately. Oh the Indians highest winning percentage decade ever the 1950s, good decade for the BROWNS also. If you go to my NFL team of the Decade thread you will see that the Browns were the "Team of the Decade of the 50s....but the Indians came no where close....that was during the Yankees run. Yeah or put another way since the 1920s, why? Because they have the best fans there in the Bronx. Or they got the buying up talent thing down early especially from smaller market teams.
