I just saw a Bob's Big Boy the other day...was surprising.  Thought they were all gone.    Always loved Red Barn as a kid.

Browns win, Browns win.   The defense finally comes to play for 4 quarters.

 

2. What 2 things do the Browns need to do most to improve?

A.  Not let the other teams good WRs run wild like they did with A. Brown and Hilton....and that  means  AJ Green.  B. Run the Damned ball.

 

3. Dwayne Wade is apparently joining the Cavs.   What does he bring to the table that will be helpful?

Early on.....minutes that will later go to Isaiah Thomas.  Later in the playoff run, some short periods of toughness and a been there done that mentality. Plus, he is still the king of the double head fake....and he can hit a few shots and get a number of foul calls on him.

 

4. The World Series.....what is your prediction.

Tribe Wins, Tribe Wins.   (but of course, the question for Clevelanders is always:  how will they find a way to blow it this time)

In looking at this list, I note that there are several that I have not seen.  The most prominent is probaby On The Waterfront.  The others are some of the really old one like Birth of a Nation, The Gold Rush, A Place in the Sun, Wuthering Heights, All Quiet on the Western Front.  Plus I have only seen snippets of the likes of Sunset Blvd. and The Best Years of our Lives.   I got this question from the radio this morning...sports talk...and there was a guy on there that said he had never seen any of the Star Wars movies. Jesus.

Just locally here we used to have a Chi Chi's  Dutch Pantry, Big Boy, Ponderosa, Isaly's, Manners, L&K and Burger Queen.    The two that I most "regret" not being there is Isaly's Lunch Counter, where we would always go in with my Mom when were were kids after she would go grocery shopping (pure nostalgia)....and the L&K....but that is only because it was open 24 hours....and at the time, in my 20s there could be some late nights/early mornings.  Also, perhaps #1 is the Red Barn...as there was one right across the street from our High School....and it was a regular hangout.  (and, you know, I think there may still be a Big Boys in Fairlawn...but the internet site I looked at said it was defunct).

I have never see any of those Nightmare On Elm Street...Freddy Krueger movies, or the Friday the 13th Jason movies.   Just really not my cup of tea.  

I have also never seen the Fast and the Furious Movies, or the Hangover movies....though...I could see that I might actually like those.  It would just take some effort to binge watch them or something.

It's still a personnel question... Pretty clear what we lack and right now it's more than better quality at 2 positions.

That said given what we have to work with we need: 1. Garrett playing and 2. Mayes playing.

Comeradity... with LBJ. I think he can moderate some of LeBron's overreach. Does that mean title? Hard to see that given the Warrior's roster.

That it's too hard to predict. Are we the best AL team? Yes. Are the Dodger's the best NL team? Yes. Does that mean shit in short series? No... but I like our odds.

Top one on the AFI list I've not seen is Sunset Blvd., but I doubt "everyone" has seen a movie from the 50's. There are a few more listed same thing.

Shuckie Ducky... and hands down... Godfather's Pizza... damn good and loaded with more toppings than any pizza chain today... or at elast the big delivery chains. Every once in a while I still hear about one surviving.

Manner's is still around... just known as Kip's now... another "Big Boy" regional that bought Manner's. Ate in one in Ohio a few years ago... and, yes, had a Big Boy... and onion rings... both still good.

Thanks for this listing.    As mentioned, I have never seen any of the Fast/Furious movies.   Also...I have not seen a number of the "Cartoons"...animated movies on that list.  (Minions...Despicable Me 3...though I saw the first two, Inside Out, Madagascar 3, Zootopia).  I also don't even know or have ever heard of Wolf Warrior.  What is that?   The one on there that I have not seen...that I should and want to is Deadpool.

The closed down a really good restaurant which had two open near us called Main Street Grill. Best food on excellent chef level. Seared tuna was to die for.

Improve playcalling, and basic WR fundamentals. Basically we need an OC.

He brings a strong veteran presence. I think he'll be a great sixth man.

6 Kenny Rogers Roasters had the best chicken, Ive never understood why they went under. Steak and Ale was in Houston and had good food. Steak and eggs with steak so tender you could cut it with a fork. Chef Jacques Pepin used to work at Howard Johnsons.

I don't recall that we ever had Kenny Rogers or Steak and Ale around here in NEO.  Maybe others remember.

Steak & Ale was alright at best. When I first starting working at a Plant on I-10 East out of Houston in the 70's, it was the only "fine dining" around to host visitors. It was to steak what Red Lobster is to seafood.
