There were people who said we should take him over mingo, andah went one pick before anyway, but pffftttwhat did they know right? ah well we were in the 3-4 then so he was best served going to a 4-3 team. But now......interest? Him and garrett could make a nasty DE tandem. I'm already calling that ogbah, Nassib and Orchard will be no better than last year. That means they're gone or still sitting 2nd/3rd string. Nassib's the only one of em I'm willing to keep at this point. Orchards been here long enough to show something and it ain't happenin, Ogbah is the same stiff goof he was last year. Nassib is only marginally better cause his runstopping otherwise he'd go too. I don't want to draft a DE high next year because of our needs on Offense, like wr's that can, whats it called, oh right catch. And I don't want a DE taken in later rounds cause that's another project. We need a guy in FA next year that can produce immediately opposite Garett. DE should be our number one priority in FA next year unless some kind of mythical turnaround happens in one of our other guys. Garrett needs a competent guy on the other side of him and it can't wait a couple years for another late round draft pick to work out. I'm also not adverse to a FA DT pickup. Nobody has yet to line-up across from Garrett with 13 games to play..The NFL eats your game tape till ya find another way.All the greats do get sucked inside offen too. Lets look at Ogbah as a stiff DE in 2016 in Rookie season...#1.Buckner-73 Tackles-6 Sacks..#2.Ogbah-53 tackles-5.5 sacks...#3. His excuse is that as long as the TEAM gets 40 sacks this season, he can stay at 0 as far as he is concerned. Why is this happening? Double, triple team every play. Despite protestations of Ignor Amos, if the Browns end up the season with that many sacks and Garrett has none, so what. It means the TEAM is pressuring and getting to the QB. I said before the season that Garrett's addition will add to Ogbah's sacks and pressures. Still believe that because everyone wants to stop the #1 overall and will do anything to make that happen. Watched Houston at Pats the other night on the n-work..(Clowney played well) but That #99 Watt was not the bother.But that damn D. What, u guys think teams are like holy shit we have to contain enmanuel ogbah triple team him on every play!!!..? uhhhhh. Nope. He's getting easily handled by the tackle who often hands him to a TE. I thought his 5 sacks last year were suspect but i held my thoughts back to give him this year. Its going the same way.
