This isn’t  rocket science.

Jimmy has unlimited funds to hire a front office. Warren Buffet is about to give him BILLIONS

Hire a President of Football Opps.

Let that guy hire a GM, and let that guy hire a coach

just make sure the people you hire want to do the job

dont hire a Holmgren type.

We need a hungry guy that is just starting out

Funding has never been a problem for this team , from Al and Randy Lerner to Jimmy Haslam.

It has been making the right choices on WHO to hire.

There is nothing wrong with hiring a Holmgren type.....its just that Holmgren himself was not the right person. Pretty much all the GMs, coaches, players they have drafted "wanted the job".   I am sure that they thought Holmgren wanted the job.  And Holmgren DID want the job.....for the money apparently...and not for the prestige of building a winning organization.

And they have had "hungry guys just starting out".  Dwight Clark...his first GM gig. Savage, even Farmer.  And Sachi.  All hungry guys starting out.   So it is impossible to just put a label on a guy and think he will bring success. So far, all the different types have brought nothing but failure.

Even the concept of bringing Peyton Manning as PFO seems nice...."after all....look how succesful Elway is".  Well, just because one HOF QB was successful does not mean the next one will be.  You never know.  It may be worth a shot...and I doubt that he would be as disinterested as Holmgren was, but you just never know.  Knowing the Browns luck....Peyton could suck at it.

You cant turn over the coaching staff. You cant expect every new coaching staff to come in and impliment a new system and get immediate results. The players are tired of this bs and so am i. The results of cutting coaches loose 2 years or less into their tenure speak for themselves. Im not sitting through another rebuild when this rebuild essentially just began. Last year hue had to work with too many his predecessors players. It'll take another year before we can say this is really hue's and greggs O and D
