Your choices:

Paul DePodesta and Sashi Brown, the analytics/legal minds behind the current rebuilding process, including trades, draft picks, and business arrangements for the Cleveland Browns professional football organization.

Bill Cowher, former NFL player and coach familiar with the AFC north who helped revive a rival of the Browns from a slump of mediocrity and inconsistency to playing in divisional titles and Superbowls.

[Note: There is no rumor or speculation that Mr. Cowher would consider leaving his current position as an on-air analyst for CBS Sports or that the Browns have attempted to contact him, this is just poll of forum opinion toward a hypothetical situation]

None of the above.

And just for the record Bill isn't a front office guy. I'm sure Sashi & D podesta have a use but if any part of their responsibilities include picking Talent I'd rather have somebody that knows players. I am not now nor have I ever been a big fan of this silly system even though to an extent it's used everywhere.

Do you prefer Jimm Haslem as the owner or Do you want Brian Billick To own the team. You must make a choice.

stupid..... cowher isn't in the browns ballpark.

Of course he's not.

He's been busy looking for a house to buy in Strongsville for the last decade.

Blah, blah, blah.

He was an intense coach, but over rated. Blew several home field advantages.

Saying that, I still cannot figure out how Modell chose Belichick over Cowher in the hiring process back in the day. Then again, Modell fires Belichick and Paul Brown.

I don't recall the Browns even considering hiring Cowher as HC at the time.

And as much as I despise Art Modell, the Browns do not win the '64 NFL Championship with Paul Brown as HC.

I dont want cowher as the coach, but front office? Yes. Only reason i dont want him as coach is that he has a diff def scheme so we'd have to restart the def yet again.

During his run as Head Coach, Cowher won a power struggle with whoever the GM was, and gained power over the roster of the team. The Steelers then had two seasons under .500 and Cowher nearly got canned. The proper delegation of power within the Steelers organization was reinstated, and they've been a playoff contender every season since, winning two Super Bowls, going to a third.

It is a totally different animal, coaching and being in the front office.

Thank you...

As with Manning I was going to raise the question of Cowhers' GM qualifications. Now you've reminded folks of his GM disqualifications.

He interviewed Cowher,  didn't hire him obviously. Must not have had the energy like BB lol.
