I guess he channeled his inner Johnny. But christ, it's a friday and you have a game Sunday?

He was verified out till bar close past 1:30am drinking.....

I bet Kessler didn't, I bet Hogan didn't, and I bet Manning as a rookie didn't.

It isn't bad enough we're practically giving him the job this year, but then he does this?

Hopefully dude is better at picking up the ladies than he is at playing QB.

i hate saying it early, and maybe some people will hate me for it, but I'm completely off the Kizer train....

I don't think he's the answer. I understand it was an experiment, but at this time, let him sit and learn and become a backup.

Hue said our goal is to win every week, and if players make mistakes or turn the ball over, there's other players that can play. He's clearly frustrated, and probably upset Kizer not only played bad, but also got drunk friday night.

How's a 21 year old who parties Friday before a Sunday morning game going to lead our men to victory? Hogan, and Kessler clearly want the job more.

Pick one of them, just one of the three and stick with them. No more "I hope Kizer is the starter at the end of the year" from Hue..... I hate that Sheet. Here's what I think.

Hue liked Watson and Wentz, the FO didn't. They liked Kizer, although Hue picked Kessler last year. They also pressured Hue to start Kizer. They had to of, to evaluate where he stands and his potential.

The flip flopping is discrediting every idea I had of the FO's "plan" for the QB position.

+10000000000

Unless their plan all along is this offseason to pay Kirk Cousins what ever it takes to get him, then it's painfully obvious they don't have the slightest clue of what they're doing..... and the cohesion between the coaching staff and FO is nonexistent.

I don't know who will get the first bullet (probably the head coach I would guess) but that bullet has already been sent downrange.

Meh, while I don't think the kid is to smart, they said the tape was at 1:30am. What time do teams show up on Saturdays? 11? Noon? Not really a late night. Also didn't say if he was drinking so who knows.  Didn't have a beer in his hand and a sparkler in his mouth did he?

Either way, not the smartest thing to do, but it was Friday night not Saturday night

I thought by now Kizer would show SOME kind of improvement, but this last game was worse than pitiful.I think he just doesn't see it - timing, accuracy, progressions.....zilch.  If I had to do a mock draft right now,Josh Allen would be my #1 pick of the draft - even at first overall. My second pick would be a wr...

Kirk... or Ridley. After that, who knows ...but three wr's in the draft might be necessary.

And, Hue runs an undisciplined offense, players like britt, coleman, kizer, lewis, higgins...don't care to play football, they just want a paycheck, and Hue apparently doesn't want to see it, and won't hammer down on players who don't care to win. Williams is a genuine wr... The offensive line, TE's, and rb's deserve a hell of a lot better than the qbs and wr's that are making this offense a farce. So do all the fans.

If Williams is named Interim HC tomorrow, I won't be a bit surprised. Nothing is going to improve while the offensive coaches allow some players to fart around on and off the field. I would have already had Kenny Britt out the door for his lackluster behavior on the field.

Kizer is struggling, and stayed out partying til 1 AM Friday night? I'll bet Trubisky and Wentz weren't out partying til 1 AM.

Two ages I drank more than any other time of my life... 16 and 21.

Isn't Kizer 21?

It's not a good look... I get it... Optics!

But I ain't off his train... not with 9 games to go. And as Taco pointed out, you stick with Kizer. The only choice with promise...

Honestly, cal, it wasn't... not even close to his worst showing... not close to his Cinci outing.

These wr's arent bringing ANY free agent qb here next year. No chance. Cousins isnt coming here to bounce balls off clev browns wr's  actual ballsacks

Time, and more importantly - money, will tell.........

I'll tell you how bad it is... I haven't even watched the game yet. I was at the sold flip house digging for a second septic

tank, then we painted the front brick on the other flip house, and I only heard the last 8 minutes.

Or, I'd be more irate... LOL Oh, and I have to get a couple of truckloads of firewood into the barn, and other stuff...

may be working an all nighter because I didn't get to do it over this weekend, and it's supposed to rain in the morning.

lol... well... that'll teach you for getting your knee fixed... ;)

I love the "the players are undisciplined under Hue so Williams should be the HC" narrative.

Hard-nose Williams's players were jumping offsides all freakin' day today.

I disagree. If we can get Cousins via free agency our QB is solidified for years. With the draft assets we have left then we can make dramatic progress. Barkley for sure. WR has several good FA's (Robinson and Landry) or trade a pick for a stud. No more scratch offs, buy a known stud QB.

These kind of stories are a bit silly, honestly. If Kizer was normally an accurate passer and astute decision maker, and if his partying caused today's performance to be totally crappy then I could see blasting him. But his play today was pretty much in line with how he normally plays, In all honesty, he is a free man, not a slave, not a school child, plenty of people party on the weekend and are ready to go come work time. Given he is stinking up the place, I understand how many fans will be appalled by his partying, but people, he's a 21 year old sports celebrity, not a nun. This is what kids do. Had he performed well this wouldn't even be an issue. I don't think his drinking had anything to do with anything. He had plenty of time to sleep it off and get rested.

I would have left the kid in the game. The game was still manageable and winnable.

This is a shortcoming of Hue. Quit wiping Kizers snotz, let him dig himself out. I would have left him in. Putting Kessler in, to me, made no sense.

Then how can you say this was Kizer’s worst game?

But he didn't perform well, and that's precisely why I don't like it. I get what you're saying, but Hue seems frustrated with him and yanked him for freaking Kessler. That speaks volumes of uncertainty. Hue is in panic mode and trying to win, and we don't have 2-3 years to develop Kizer which is what I predicted we needed. Kessler his rookie season was LIGHT YEARS better than Kizer.

I agree it’s pathetic.

Bad. I already feel bad. Should have been sticking with Kizer all along.

I was shocked today when the camera panned to Kess coming out to play...... Hue is pushing panic button after panic button, but none of them are actually connected to anything.

Totally disagree.

You can't have one player keep sabotaging the offense over and over in the same way. How many points has Kizer left on the board lately by making ridiculous mistakes in the redzone?

I know what many of you will say, that he's the only QB on the team that could have a future as a viable starter (and I get it) but the rest of the team deserves someone who won't make such soul-sucking mistakes on the regular.

I, and I'm sure a lot of his players, just can't get a grip on what Hue is trying to do. Win today? Sacrifice today at the benefit of tomorrow? I just don't know, and I'm convinced that he doesn't even know.

You and me both.

I somewhat get the impression that Hue would have loved to keep Kizer on the bench for the start of the season, maybe until the bye week, but the other QBs on the roster didn't cooperate. Kessler and Osweiler did everything they could NOT to be named the starter in training camp/preseason, and while Hogan played decently when thrown into the fray, he looked laughably bad when given the shot as a starter.
