LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Bengals and Browns actually agreed to AJ McCarron trade at 3:55 pm, per source involved. Bengals approved trade to NFL, Browns did not. 9:02 pm · 31 Oct 2017
hx214 Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Just heard this on the radio. If this is true... the front office is a complete joke.
LogicIsForSquares Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 This front office is ran by complete and utter Retards.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Schefter again Browns disputed proposed AJ McCarron trade to NFL, arguing it should be allowed, per source. NFL declined - no trade, officially, per source
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 NFL rejected Browns request to overturn AJ McCarron trade. Even though Browns’ notification of trade arrived moments too late, NFL said no.
LogicIsForSquares Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Sashi took a lesson from Hue on clock management.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Personally glad it didn’t get through. Hue Jackson’s taste in QBs sucks, the Bengals wouldn’t be letting a divisional rival have him if he was any good.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 The FO needs to stop listening to Hue Jackson on Quarterbacks. And quick.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Ryan Burns @FtblSickness Traded a ton for Carson Palmer. Excited about RGIII. All in on Goff. Really wanted Jimmy G. Also likes AJ McCarron. Hue Jackson. QB Guru. 8:54 pm · 31 Oct 2017

I would take that over every QB here. The danger is that he might win games.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Andy Dalton blows and McCarron can’t beat him out.

The track record speaks for itself. However, I don't blame the FO for falling through the cracks for McCarron. I blame them, simply, because they had an interest in McCarron in the first place. They have to pay up and get a true starting NFL QB and forget about nibbling around the edges - McCarron's wife notwithstanding.

LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Hue thinking AJ McCarron is a franchise QB is a sackable offence. Hue can’t evaluate QBs, period.

MLD Woody Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Hue also apparently wanted Watson. And I know the Watson boners are in full effect on here right now
Clevfan4life Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Wait, can soneone explain to me wtf happened? We wanted mccarron but then we didnt? Im sorry im so Shmucking lost. So we aporoved the trade but then went to the nfl to have it nulled?

They are made of lava.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Im of the opinion Hue was behind this trade and the FO appeased him knowing full well it wasn’t going to happen
Clevfan4life Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Btw, mccarron is not a horrible idea just wondering what we were gonna give fir him

From what l gather the Browns FO did some hemming and hawing, and by the time they got around to pulling the trigger, it was too late.

Schefter reports the Browns notified the NFL of the deal "moments too late," and that the league would not budge. ESPN Clevelad's Tony Grossi went as far as to report that the Browns were "celebrating" McCarron's acquisition and "forgot to call in the deal before the deadline." That seems a bit hard to believe, though we really want to. The Browns have lost control of their quarterback narrative, letting their rivals and media paint them as hapless in their pursuit of an answer under center.
LondonBrown Posted October 31, 2017 Author Report Posted October 31, 2017 Grossi is a compulsive liar. Pure poison that guy.

MDDawg Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 McCarron and his noodle arm? He's Hogan/Kessler 2.0 with marginal better knowledge of Hue's offense, glad we didn't give up a 2nd and 3rd for him.
darren15 Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 We were giving Bengals a 2 and a 3 apparently
