If the playoffs started today the following would be in:

AFCE Patriots 7-2

AFCN Steelers 7-2

AFCS Titans 6-3 (own tie break over Jags)

AFCW Chiefs 6-3

Wildcards: Jaguars 6-3, Bills 5-4

NFCE: Eagles 8-1

NFCN: Vikings 7-2

NFCS: Saints 7-2

NFCW: Rams 7-2

Wildcards:  Panthers 7-2, Seahawks 6-3

The "race" for the #1 overall pick:

Browns 0-9

49ers 1-9

Giants 1-8

Status of the Houston #1 pick which Browns own:

It would be somewhere between 5 and 10.

Four teams have worse records:  Browns/49ers/Giants/Colts

Six teams have 3-6 records:  Bengals, Chargers, Broncos, Bears, Bucs, and Texans.

This site has the Texans pick at #8:

I'd say that the AFC playoffs are open to more teams than the NFC. This year the NFC has more level.

The teams in the NFC which are actually wildcards look way better than the teams in the AFC's wildcards and than the teams that they have in the hunt.

Amazing isn't it out of the top 17 teams on the pick first list only 3 have a winning streak going 14 are losers! (insert BROWNS comments here)
