SkippinTurtles Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 The Colts have a starter with potential in Jacoby Brissett. T.Y. is great. The rest of their roster is hot garbage. Irsay is unstable. A sweet package of picks could land him. Worth a shot.
Clevfan4life Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 No. His head isnt in the nfl anymore
Ghoolie Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Andrew Luck is a dud. He couldn't hold Mannings caulk-strap. I don't want this goofy bastoord and his broken wing. Are you nuts? Yeah.................. let's stand in line to give upa ton for another schidt player.
SkippinTurtles Posted November 17, 2017 Author Report Posted November 17, 2017 I'm not suggesting giving up the farm. But injuries heal and a healthy Luck under center behind a decent O-Line would be a potential move forward.
BrownPile Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 How ironic would it be, then, that the Browns would have/had the top 3 picks in the 2012 draft play for them, including both 'franchise QBs'? Makes you wonder when reading all the "coulda had Wentz/Goff, shoulda had Wentz/Goff...' chatter most days... I suppose if history repeats, the Browns will have both Wentz and Goff play for them by 2021 and all the current posters will be happy then, yes? Or will the current mantra in 2021 be "coulda had Cole Kelley, shoulda had Cole Kelley'...
Alkid3 Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 If he's cheap why not. Luck's o lines were so shitty. That is... if he recovers completely.
jiggins7919 Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Yeah, I actually thought about this too. Throwing shoulders are very tricky, and I recently heard a report that said Luck was in Europe getting treatment. The only reason people go to Europe for treatment is to get something experimental, right? I'm guessing stem cell treatment or something like that? Perhaps I'm wrong and maybe he just went to some all-world specialist. The issue is obviously how Luck will heal...IF he'll heal, and it's anybody's guess at this point.
domcucch1994 Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 The Browns could have landed a healthy Carson Wentz with the #2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but decided to trade away their future..

Exactly what I was thinking when I read this, the USA has the best medicine in the world (if you can afford it, Luck can) unless you need some non-AMA experimental or real cutting edge stuff. Luck? Maybe as a long shot reclamation project at the right price, maybe.

Again... do you live in the past in your entire life or just with the Browns? Because dude I feel sorry for you if you live this way.

If he could be had for something less than that, it could be worth it. Better than "wasting" like 3rd round picks on a guy like Kessler.

SkippinTurtles Posted November 17, 2017 Author Report Posted November 17, 2017 Drew Brees was coming off of a bad shoulder when he signed with the Saints. Healthy Andrew Luck is as good as Carson Wentz.

Clevfan4life Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 If infy wants to part with him for a 2nd, sure. Anything higher, nope.
beare Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Luck if healthy would be better then any qb we have had in many many years key words IF HEALTHY!

SkippinTurtles Posted November 18, 2017 Author Report Posted November 18, 2017 I doubt any surgeons post here. Luck could be fine by the start of next year. Why not float an offer for a top 10 QB while his value is low and the team has cap space.

No thanks.
Dutch Oven Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 If the Colts are even considering trading away one of the best QB prospects to enter the NFL in years, that should tell you that he's got serious injury concerns.
calfoxwc Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Terry Bradshaw is still around, and he's healthy......
Tour2ma Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 The dude is off in Europe undergoing "experimental" treatments... Yeah... I want in on that.
The Gipper Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 7 hours ago, hoorta said: Colts aren't giving Luck away. Beware damaged goods. Cost = a couple firsts. No thanks. Well, you know that Sashi has the reputation of wanting to "win every deal". Allegedly that is why the Pats would not deal with him for Garypolo. (though I doubt that is the real reason). But if it is.... Sashi would play hardball. (but then, Sachi may be in no position to play at all, if he is thrown out on his can.)

Yea, because Stanford is just such a bad college. NOT. (probably actually the best combination of academics and athletics in the nation)

We had this doc at a place I worked at, if the first time you'd meet him, you'd think "what a goober." Over the course of several months, from my coworkers found out. He went to Stanford Medical School- okayyyyy. He got a full free ride to Stanford Medical School. Say what? He had the highest score in the country on the MCATs. Makes sense now.
