Shazier - NFL Problem?

Well said Larry!  For those that have been here long enough - you can thank Ghoolie for the hypocritical take that gives you the same 2 minute abs I got from LMFAO.  That took my FLABS (acro for Flugel's Abs) to shredded wheat in just 120 seconds.  The funniest part of this entire thread is Ghoolie always used to confront and insult anyone who thought Harrison was dirty.  Laughable considering all that came from 1 fan that never wore a jock strap outside of his mommy-made Halloween pirate costume.  Ghoolie would always announce how much he adored James Harrison for playing football the way it was meant to be played.

I'll take a stab at why James Harrison could withstand what Shazier could not.  Once Harrison started taking enough steroids (after being cut 3 times by Miami and Pittsburgh) - the Steeler way increased his neck size to the circumference of an oak tree while his wife began to frequent the battered women's shelter.  The irony in all of this is when Harrison completed his hat-trick of unconscious Cleveland Browns (MoMass, Cribbs and McCoy) - Steeler fans tried to pay his fine money.  The NFL wouldn't accept that money so the Pittsburgh Gazette painted Harrison as a hero for donating all that money from others to the battered women's shelter/support group Harrison's wife continued to need.  That Gazette article counted on avid Steeler fans like Ghoolie to be too simplistic to ask why Harrison's wife still needed the shelter.   At 1 time, James Harrison was the Defensive MVP of the NFL while Ben Rapen was the Superbowl QB topping Arizona.  In the same game, 1 guy had a 99 yard pick 6 while the other threw the game winning TD pass to the oft-arrested Santonio Holmes.  In between all of Ghoolie's cartwheels, summer salts and underwear changes for that trio  - he couldn't wait to tell us Jim Brown was a bad guy he could never root for.  Once again, way to follow your criteria there pus gut...

That's a lot of lies in response to  a lie.

Harrison size and strength is the result of his ridiculous workout regimen, not steroids you simpleton. The man  hit the gym 6 hrs. after the KC playoff win last year.

And yes Ghoolie is right. Jim Brown was a bad guy.

But for all Brown's good deeds and athletic prowess, there appears to be a dark side to him as well. He has been frequently accused of violent crimes, primarily toward women.

An 18-year-old accused Brown of forcing her to have sex after giving her whisky, but a jury found him innocent of assault and battery in the 10-day trial in 1965. He was accused of throwing his girlfriend from a balcony in 1968, but when the 22-year-old woman refused to name Brown as her assailant, the charge of assault with intent to murder was dropped. He was fined $300 for resisting a deputy.

Brown was acquitted of assaulting a man after a traffic accident in 1969. He was fined $500 and spent a day in jail after beating up a golfing partner in 1978. He was charged with rape, sexual battery and assault in 1985, but the charges were dropped when the 33-year-old woman gave inconsistent testimony.

The next year, he was arrested for allegedly beating his fiancée after accusing her of flirting. He spent three hours in jail, but three days later the 21-year-old woman said she didn't want to prosecute.

In October 1999, Brown was convicted in Los Angeles of smashing the window of his 25-year-old wife Monique's car, but was acquitted of making terrorist threats against her. The judge sentenced him to three years' probation, stripped him of his driver's license for a year, fined him $1,700 to be paid to a battered woman's shelter and a domestic abuse fund, and ordered him to attend special counseling for domestic batterers.

When Brown refused counseling, he was given a six-month sentence. He was released from jail in Ventura County (California) in July 2002 after serving less than four months.

Joe Paterno had his statue taken down at Penn State whos only "crime" was allegedly "not doing enough".

So when is the statue of Jim Browns statue at First Energy coming down?

In the wake of all these accusations of past sexual abuses against women by celebrities you would think you liberal fagggott hypocrites would take the lead...especially now that there are no more statues left in Dixie for you fucckks to destroy.

Says the Steeler Fag crying his eyes out about a statue of all things.

1) Someone needs to learn how to read and understand context  I wasn't arguing if Jim Brown was a bad guy - I was laughing at the hypocrisy of someone saying he couldn't root for Jim Brown even though he rooted for James Harrison, Ben Rapen and Santonio Holmes. BTW, I was only 1 year old in 1965 when Jim Brown last carried the football so I never got to see him play or root for him or see his 1 and only NFL Championship year in 64.  I can't help it if nobody outside of Pittsburgh will ever mistake Franco Harris for being the greatest RB or football player of all time.   Otto Graham won 7 Pro Football Championships of the 10 he led his teams to (3 of those wins were in the 6 NFL Championship Games he had the Browns in).  Not bad a bad 10 year career eh?   Understanding all that, I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever seeing Ottomatic Graham replacing Jim Brown as the face of this franchise.

2) It's not really a good idea to lecture about honesty in the same post you're trying to argue James Harrison is clean. 6 hours of exercise after playing tackle football for 3 hours for any human without PEDs is way over-training and over-taxing the necessary recuperation necessary for growth and repair. If anyone ever lit a match next to that walking chemistry kit - he'd go air borne looking like a missile headed over seas. Dumbbells like you shouldn't be arguing about dumbbells. You've never come close to a gym or weight room in your life just like your buddy Ghoolie who hasn't seen his feet from a standing position since he was 4 years old.

3) Joe Paterno? Look at your spin defending more winning at all costs in PA.  Did he get Sandusky arrested or did he stick with the powerless campus rent-a-cops plan?  Did he fire the pedophile?   Check mate!  Why do I get the feeling you were one of the knuckleheads that rioted over the decision to not allow Joe PA to coach any more?   Little boys aren't supposed to be repeatedly wearing some Gomer's Pile in/up their fannies inside a football program's shower room regardless of how much/how long you wanted the look away to preserve the winning tradition.  How many victims did they end up with at college football's version of Sodom and Gomorrah?

4) According to the study conducted by Sports Illustrated - the Pittsburgh Steeler teams from the 70s and 80s had the most premature death and disability to former players under 53 years of age thought to be linked to extensive abuse of steroids. Not to be outdone, a former Steeler offensive line named Steve Courson wrote a book about the False Glory from all the guys on their team  (including/especially himself)that abused steroids and sent the wrong message to future players.  Last but not least, they had a team doctor for 22 years that had such a fascination with HGH that he was investigated for purchasing excessive quantities of HGH believed to be used outside of its clinical purpose.   With NFL testing set up to exclude HGH testing (up until the last month of 2014) - why do we suppose this staying ahead of the curve would be important?  And another article came out in 2016 that a lot of guys thought to be using HGH weren't getting caught (nobody was) meaning it's nice to know guys like that Pittsburgh HGH Dr or have easy access to them right?  Good thing Rooney was a very powerful man behind the scenes like he has been for Ben Rapen and James Harrison whenever necessary.

5) And YES we know you're Ghoolie's Head Cheerleader in need of a brand new set of knee pads for Christmas.

6) You got any more fart smells you want to argue about Missy?     And this just in - Pittsburgh cut their poster boy for steroids.  The only question left is - was this before or after his last 6 hour workout?
