Tacosman Posted January 1, 2018 Report Share Posted January 1, 2018 1) No, the players aren't good enough. It's a terrible roster and terrible team. There is a lack of good veterans on this team. there is a lack of good young players on this team. There is a lack of good players or even average players on this team period. The team sucks. It has one of the worst 4 rosters in the league. It has the worst starting qb situation in the league. The list of players on this team that could start for most other teams is pretty small. Some of this has to do with poor drafting over the last 3 years. Corey Coleman as a #15 draft pick has been a complete joke. Peppers as a first round pick is a bad nightmare. Carson Wentz is going to finish in the top 3 in the mvp race and likely would have won without the late season injury. The GM has already been rightfully fired for those misses. So we know the players suck....but 2) Hue sucks as well. Even with a terrible roster by nfl standards, 1-31 is way way below expectations. The expected w-l record of our team based on talent/roster over the past 2 seasons is probably 7-25 to 9-23. IOW, still very bad and one of the worst 4-5 teams in the league over that period. Because thats where our roster is. But 1-31 is such an anomoly with *ANY* nfl roster that you have to believe the schemes and the HC has to be a part of the failure to meet expectations. We can feel confident that we do not have a quality head coach. Quality head coaches simply would never go 1-31 in the nfl with any roster. Hue should be fired. The quality of young players is much better than what most on this board is willing to admit. I hate to say this, but Hue is just horrible and we do need a new HC.
