Booker
Should the Indians take a chance on Pedro Martinez or ..gasp... Paul Byrd? We need an arm in the rotation and you can't play musical chairs with Columbus through September and hope to be competitive. I'm all for it! Beanpot
You're taking more than a chance when it comes to Pedro. He apparently wants a commitment in the $3 millionish range to even suit up for a club. That's a steep investment on top of a chance. Beyond that, Pedro just hasn't been all that great of a pitcher the last few years. ERA+ of 90 over the past three years and 85 the past two. Effective at times, dominant rarely, pedestrian all too often. The Phillies, with all of their financial resources, are apparently passing on Pedro while looking for a replacement for Myers. I'm guessing we'll do the same unless the asking price drops to "please give me a chance" level. Beanpot

We already have enough bad pitching, we don't need to sign these guys to raise our era even more.
Guest TheJokersWILD
Let's get to .500 first Sorry folks, I gave up on the tribe after watching that heartbreaking loss to the Marlins in the Wrold Series. Actually my heart should be in millions of pieces by now after being broken so many times. This is my first and last visit to the tribe board
