1) CRITICAL MISTAKE by the Eagles Head Coach. Patriots offside on the field goal. Why decline that penalty? It would have turned a 42 yard FG into a much easier 37 yarder. Some people just don't understand football.

2) Based on the historical NFL records. the Steegles  make the Steelers = Eagles. SO if the Eagles win, the Steelers technically will have won 6.5 Superbowls.

3) During the Viet Nam War, there was a shortage of players and the Browns and Eagles merged. They were called the Beagles.

Yes a 37 harder is easier, but he made the 42 yarder, why take points off the board to turn around and try to add them back. You make NO sense.

And hmm, the most crucial plays of the game were defensive plays, guess you need them afterall

Nobody said offense wasn't important, but the key is to score more points than your opponent, whether thst is 3-0 or 80-79. Eagles won because they made STOPS at the end, simple as thst. If you don't understand that, then nobody can help you have any knowledge of the game

And, your crying after the last game, Tom and company got shafted on a couple catch/no catch calls in this game. Especially the 1st one. So I guess the refs dont cheat for them. Or how about the blatant pick play, or the terrible PI on the last play, not on Gronk.

Had those plays been called CORRECTLY, then different outcomes. I didn't care who won, but it was the EXACT OPPOSITE of your whining.

The Patriots were given the last SB by the refs. THey had to earn a win tonight, and they couldn't. THe plays were called very, very fairly. Nobody but you is crying.

THe Super Steelers remain the Greatest team that ever was.................. 6 NFL SB Championships. SIX............... THis was a great win for Penisylvania.

I told you that Brady is done. He holds on to the ball too goddamn long. It caught up with him tonight. Down went the ball, down on his butt Brady went.

I'm not crying, you did about the Jags game. I didn't care who won. But I watch a game in a coaches mindset, and can see things others glance over. They weren't called, o well. But in the end, Philly DEFENSE helped them win.

And with this post, you just proved you are a Steeler fan

No, you said it before last year's Super Bowl and then again before the playoffs started that he would never win another playoff game.

Brady lost a game, certainly doesn't mean he is done. But maybe with your minute knowledge, that is how you think it works.

Congrats, the best QB ever lost a game

The 2017 NFL MVP Brady? Yeah he's 40 and should think about hanging it up but it was the one and only sack and fumble that made it tough for the Patriots to come back.

Still they were down to the final play of the game, if the Patriots would have pulled it out BRADY would have been the SB MVP.....again.

But you'd have to be a real dummy not to be able to figure that out. ;)

...and YOU missed a good game too.

I'll say one thing about the iggles.  They get good OL play.  Any RB they put in there can find yardage.

...and ANOTHER, one thing...they've got a receiver who catches EVERYTHING.

I thought he hit the wall in week 12 but the Shmucker kept on winning until tonight  he needs to just go Shmuck his hot wife and take care of his kid

You are so full of it. Brady only holds onto the ball so long because- you know- those dime a dozen OL give him all day to throw. HE'S SO WASHED UP, HE ONLY SET AN ALL TIME  RECORD IN PLAYOFF PASSING YARDS. EAGLES WON BECAUSE WHEN IT COUNTED THEIR DEFENSE MADE THE PLAY OF THE GAME.

He's f-in troll looking for click bait. Regardless how the game turned out- he would have proclaimed "100% accuracy". Get back to me when a washed up guy passes for  500 yards in a playoff game. jack off claims he only watched the last 5 minutes.

No, I only watched the last 5 minutes when I said....the last 5 minutes. That was in the third quarter. I told you all along Brady was washed up. When he needed to make a play, he held on to the ball too fukcing long and had it stripped. He took so long to pass on that play, Myles Garrett could have gotten to him.

I told you guys all along, Brady was done, FIni, no more Super bowls. HE BA LOWZZZZZZ         Brady got the red asss tonight, No bought refs.

You know, when you look at his SB record, he is starting to look like Jim Kelly, and the Pats are the team you want to face in the playoffs. The Steelers remain the greatest team in the NFL with 6 SB wins. They will get to 7 before anyone else gets to 6. You won't see the Pats in the SB again.

Yes a SB record 505 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs all SB MVP numbers to go along with his AFC Championship MVP and NFL MVP awards......what a washed up loser.

I would be alright if he'd hang them up because he's already done everything he can do even at the age of 40 and might be a unanimous first ballot HALL OF FAME when he's done. GOAT? MAYBE. ;)

I am new here...all I can say is defense is very important in a game...especially when you have a bad defense...and New England sucked tonight. They don't have any play makers except Flowers at DE and Butler who they chose to arse print the bench for some reason.  You have to score points and great offense does win for sure. These two teams  just like last year in the Bowl lit it up....but somebody on the other side of the line has to stop those great offensive teams...or at least slow them down. New England has gotten away with bringing in scrubs from other teams the last few years and plugging them in while letting Collins, Jones, Wilfork walk and not drafting well after Ninkovich and Mayo got old...it didn't work this year. They looked like a 13-3 team on O tonight and a 3-13 team on D.

Well first welcome to The Browns Board hope to see you around! And yes it was an epic, record setting night full of big plays and mind blowing numbers.

Brady 505 yards, 33 points by NE the most by a losing team ever, unreal total yards......felt like an old AFL game.

Still it was quite exciting right down to the final play a tipped ball in the end zone.....could you imagine the numbers if they went into OT! Still what an exciting game from the first drive to the final play. A classic.

Undertaker, I mean, Wargogay, it is nice to have you here. I will insult you in a later post but for now, I will teach you about football.

Defense doesn't win schidt. Defense didn't come up with a big play at all tonight. Brady fumbled because he holds on to the ball too long. On that fumble play, it was 5.3 seconds that he was still holding the ball. Even a homosexual, Zumba instructor like Myles Garrett could have gotten to Brady. At the end of the day, the Patriots lost because of Tom Brady. The ball was in his hands, and he couldn't get it done.

Brady, as I said, is washed up, and as I said last year, he will never win another SuperBowl. Teams refuse to blitz him because of two reasons.

1) The NFL has demanded that opposing teams do not bliz Brady, but instead give him all day to pass, and play soft zone against him.

2) Given that much time, even DeStink Kizer could pass for 500 yards. This is not impressive at all.

Once again, Ghoolie is spot on and all the red asses here are complaining and whining that I was right again. I didn't even have to watch this game. I predicted the outcome a year ago. Brady will never win another SB.

Guys, I think I'm more disappointed at you than at Ghoolie. I hoped that for once you wouldn't read or reply the thread, but you did.

Stop feeding the troll.

Among the things he could have pointed out, he pointed the declined penalty for offsides on a made FG in 4&11 in his first point. I watched the game with some friends who had never watched a game and even they understood that decision  You know that the thread will only go down from that point... You guys should know better.

Thanks and yes...if that goes into OT it looks like an NBA score

Lol well I have to admit I can't wait to be insulted. I get the offense thing you are saying. The Steelers had the curtain but still had Bradshaw Swan Stallworth and Franco. The 49ers had Rice Montana Craig Taylor Jones. The Cowboys had Aikman Smith Irvin Novacek. The Dolphins had Griese Warfield Kick Csonka. Still, you gotta have someone to tackle these guys or it turns into NBA. Brandon Graham is a good pass rusher and Brady did keep it a bit long cause he was trying to make something happen there. New England didn't make a defensive play in the 2nd half cause they just suck. When Kyle Van Noy is your star then that's bad football. Finally, yes, if you give an NFL QB too much time even Jay Schroeder will pick a team apart
