Kosar_For_President
Wow 200 people, that is awesome. Cal are you sure you don't smoke weed. You sure are paranoid.
calfoxwc
Has nothing to do with paranoria. I'm not Jewish.. But befriending Muslims when you grew up partly in a Muslim country, and admitting you are inclined to side with Arabic people, then to give the cold sholder to the Israeli leader, and to reach out to the Muslim world with a "Muslim" background, when you and your "org" angrily denied it during the election.... Obama was a terrible mistake. I know folks who voted for him, only to be sick at being misled about who he really was. Once again, the second time this morning, a personal attack takes place by a lib on the board for no reason, other than they don't like opposing viewpoints. SEE? What some of you libs have done? Again and again? I am and always will be a staunch supporter of Israel. And, that doesn't mean I am anti-Muslim at all. I supported Anwar Sadat back in the day, he dared to make peace with Israel. Oh, go back in history and read what extremists did to him for that.
Kosar_For_President
A personal attack? LOL. Your paranoia is being feed to you through dumb ass articles about 200 (yes 200 people) protesting 2 countries having dialogue. Where does it say that Obama gave Israel the cold shoulder? 200 people, that doesn't even represent an apartment let alone a whole country. If you finish reading the whole article it says, Later Wednesday evening, Peace Now issued a statement harshly criticizing the campaign, saying the anti-Obama posters and demonstrations would cause considerable damage to the friendship between the US and Israel. "The radical Right is damaging our strategic alliance with the US, and is embarrassing Israel in front of the world," the organization said. "[Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu] must renounce this campaign of the settlers at once, and act decisively against the hilltop youth and those who are breaking the law in the settlements." What about that group of people, talk about having blinders on? We should probably listen to a group of 200 protesters rather then listen to a group called Peace Now. I am sure they have the worst intentions.... Peace Now. So Cal how is this giving the WHOLE country of Israel the "cold shoulder"? Because not befriending the Arab world has really worked up until now.
Guest mz.
Cal, I again say this with all due respect, but you need to chill out. I've been really wanting to ask you a question for awhile now...namely, what do you really think is going to happen? Do you anticipate Brownshirts taking what's yours? Do you see an Arab world where Jews are slaves again? WWIII? Nuclear holocaust? Breadlines? I mean, what leads you to TRULY believe that these unbelievably far-fetched things are going to actually happen? You're at the point where you think a majority of Americans elected an Al Queda mole into office or something? Do you see how insane this all sounds??????? calfoxwc
Well, K- Look up "obama Israel cold shoulder" and see how many hits you come up with. It isn't just me, it's my opinion based on my observance of Obama's actions and statements, and I read a lot. It isn't based on just 200 people. Do you want to just smart off? Or do you want to have a serious discussion? Just let me know, k, K? Here's ONLY TWO examples: (the entire board can do this lookup, too, and know you are off base on your personal attack, and your criticism of my post) *************************** "As Passover comes to an end, so comes to an end, it seems, the days of grace granted to the Netanyahu Government by the American Administration," says the commentator. Tel Aviv barman Meir Avraham, 30, says he can feel on the street the tensions being played out between the US and Israel. "This is one of the the main things that the people are talking about at the moment," says Mr Avraham, who recently returned to Israel after several months in Townsville. All Israelis, says Mr Avraham, understand the vital nature of the relationship between Israel and the US. "If we lose America, then we are alone," he says. "So we must listen to what America wants. But really I think this is more about the little brother testing the limits of the big brother." *********************************************************************** Obama Has No Time For Israel Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi Israel has reportedly been given the cold shoulder by Barack Obama after Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi could not get a meeting with anyone in the new administration, from Barack Obama on down. Thee Israeli military chief was in DC to lobby the Obama administration to abandon plans for dialogue with Iran, meet with higher-ups from AIPAC and to give new information on the reported nuclear threat from Iran. Gen. Ashkenazi could not get meetings with Obama, VP Joe Biden, or any Cabinet minister, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Gen. Ashkenazi’s US counterpart Adm. Michael Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The IDF’s official website initially reported Gen. Ashkenazi cut his five-day trip short to attend meetings in Israel about new information on captive Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The IDF then released an e-mail statement saying that Gen. Ashkenazi could not get a sit-down with anyone in the Obama administration. “With regards to a meeting with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, one was not scheduled between Lt. Gen. Ashkenazi and Adm. Mullen,” the IDF stated. “Lt. Gen. Ashkenazi has met with Adm. Mullen five times in the past year.”
Mr. T
what a bunch of morons, you need to ask yourself going back to the late 30's early 40's Germany, did the jews believe they would be rounded up hunted down and killed? I recently rented the movie Defiance, it was pretty good. In the movie they did show how many of the jewish people would not fight nor did they have the will to fight. This seems ironic to when you read the old testament in the Bible, they were always having to fight for their survival. There was one character for certain who called himself an intelectual (socialist party member) he also was a jew and had to seek out the Bielski broth ers who offered to help with protecting them. I know its a movie but there is a good story behind this in which one must think could this happen to us here in the United States? Possibly yes, everyone bitched and moaned about the patriot act, and now we have the dept. of homeland security calling out citizens and labeling them home grown terrorists. Then you have the culture of Obama the messiah and people do follow his every step and word he speaks as if he is a prophet or something, then throw in our economy tanking. It wouldn't take much now would it. On CNN this morning they were all chating about Obama's speech he made and bragging that he has been 2 years in the making of this today. Now that is Kinda creepy, how would he know 2 years ago that he would be making that speech on this day 2 years ago? But if you cannot take off the obama blinders then go ahead and drink the koolaid it will calm you.
calfoxwc
Cal, I again say this with all due respect, but you need to chill out. ***************************************************** Yeah, yeah, I get your joke about "due respect". When I leave the computer, I'm having a lot of fun (and working myself to a frazzle), but farming is great fun. I still have my own Domino dev platform, and I still give myself assignments and try to develop new functionality that isn't available with the limited, but huge standard functionality of the platform. I can create my own functions that other folks have said is not possible. Gives my software designs remarkable intuitiveness and user work functions applicability. But no, your assumption is wrong. I am chilled. When Steve et all meet me here at the farm, you'd be surprised to know you appraisal is based on typie-typie as a weird hobby of mine, not real life. Though my serious opinions are my own, they are a tiny eensie weensie way in the back of my real life, and don't relate to my every day fun of living. ************************************************** I've been really wanting to ask you a question for awhile now...namely, what do you really think is going to happen? ***************************************************** I strongly fear another war against Israel, given that Obama will not come to Israel's aid in any kind of support, wait, I have to edit this...... in THEIR EYES... he won't.... given his cold shoulder to the Israeli's and his all out pleas to be friends with those in Muslim countries that hate Israel and all Jews. Now, is the extremists' time, and Iran's, etc, maybe Syria? to try to do what the Iranian nutcase has been saying all along. Do you think that he is saying it to be funny when he says Israel will be wiped off the map? Driven into the sea??? ******************************************** Do you anticipate Brownshirts taking what's yours? ******************************************** What brownshirts? They're called Acorn in this country, but now. I don't fear that at all ! It will never happen. That's dumb. But my freedom ? I can see our freedoms going down the drain, via high taxes, more private businesses being shoved into dominance by the gov, the economy totally crashing, and severe social strife about the availability of jobs and food, or being able to afford common necessities of our American way of life, and "global warming" resetrictions on running farm tractors, truckers and trucker strikes, food shortages, and a tragic, traumatizing crash of the economy.... I hope it doesn't happen, but I can see the possibility, can't you? Or, as Iranian nutjob says, "The Holocaust never happened", but instead, "The Depression never happened" ? The Soviet Union disintegrated not because they thought they'd be more powerful, but out of economic strife, and a populace demanding freedom. ******************************************** Do you see an Arab world where Jews are slaves again? WWIII? ********************************************* Nope. Do you ? ********************************************* Nuclear holocaust? ********************************************* Nope, unless Obama orders an atack on Israeli air defenses.... (okay, so that wasn't so funny...) ********************************************** Breadlines? ********************************************** Let's put it this way, mz the pussy: I was talking to our local Agriculture Agent about the best blend of grasses to have the best horse hay field... She was surprised to know I knew tons, which is funny, because I still don't know the answer yet, more info seems to make it more complicated... market wise... and, she said she'd love to come out and see our farm and our huuuuge garden, because she's involved in a big new program. The big new program is helping people learn how to have their own gardens. That new program was developed due to HUGE DEMAND from local citizens. And, that they had so many people wanting to know how to garden, it was a huge undertaking to help so many people. I explained about our garden, and said later, after all the crops are growing, if I had some time, I'd be interested in helping the program if asked. So, I shouldn't have said that, because she took me up on it, she said sooo many people don't know about varieties, planting methods, (like tomato plants), etc, Do you see what I mean? *********************************** I mean, what leads you to TRULY believe that these unbelievably far-fetched things are going to actually happen? *********************************** Sorry, but you mentioned some very dumb suggestions as to what I believe, then you're asking me what leads me to "truly" believe they will happen. I don't. You should know better than to try that. In a formal debate, the audience or judges would shake their heads in contempt. *********************************************** You're at the point where you think a majority of Americans elected an Al Queda mole into office or something? Do you see how insane this all sounds??????? *********************************************** You're doing it again. It is stupid. Why did you bring up by asking me a stupid question, and then asking me if I see how stupid it sounds? YOU brought it up, and I do not concur with your inferences. calfoxwc
There's no "owned". It doesn't have anything to do with what is happening in the United States. It has to do with OBama's blatant cold shoulder toward Israel, and his identifying with Muslims. Before, some libs beached about us saying he had a Muslim background. Now, he is overtly bragging about his Muslim background. I think it's a few libs that are "owned" and they are pouting. So childish.
calfoxwc
Obama's stance worries IsraelisJason Koutsoukis April 18, 2009 CAN Israel still call the United States its best international friend? Apparently not, if you believe the tone of the local media. Watching the drama unfold inside Israel, the increasingly tense dialogue between US President Barack Obama and new Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is taking on all the trappings of a duel. Almost every day brings news of another sore point between the two countries, a source of yet further inflammation of their once warm relations. One could be forgiven for thinking that the more immediate threat to Israel's national security lay across the Atlantic rather than from closer to home. It is bad enough that President Obama uses almost every opportunity he can to set the parameters of a final peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. Now US officials are openly using Israeli anxiety over Iran's fledging nuclear program as a bargaining chip to force Israel's hand on giving up control of the West Bank Palestinian territory. No less a figure than White House chief-of-staff Rahm Emanuel — whose father fought with the militant Zionist group the Irgun, and whose appointment had provided such reassurance to Israeli officials — was quoted this week laying down the law to Israel. If Israel wants US help to defuse the Iranian threat, Mr Emanuel was reported to have told Jewish leaders in Washington, then get ready to start evacuating settlements in the West Bank. Talkback radio blazed with fury across the country the same day, as Israelis protested that no US official had the right to tell them where to live. Then on Thursday came the news that Mr Netanyahu's planned first meeting with President Obama in Washington next month had been called off. Mr Netanyahu had hoped to capitalise on his attendance at the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington to visit the White House. But Administration officials informed Mr Netanyahu's office that the President would not be "in town". Washington sources added that the Obama Administration would not be continuing the tradition that had developed during the Bush years of hosting Israeli prime ministers whenever they showed up in town, sometimes with just a phone call's notice. It might have been no more than coincidence, but yesterday Israeli defence officials told the liberal daily Haaretz that Israel's $US15 billion ($A21 billion) purchase of 75 US-made F-35 Joint Strike Fighter jets was now under review due to "the unexpected high cost and disagreements with the manufacturer". Contrary to initial expectations, President Obama has wasted no time becoming fully engaged in the Middle East peace process, despite the magnitude of his domestic political agenda. While Mr Netanyahu has refused to endorse a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict agreed to by his predecessor, President Obama has made it abundantly clear that the US will accept nothing less than Israel living side by side with a sovereign Palestinian state. Mr Obama is also demanding a freeze on Jewish settlement expansion in the West Bank, and has dropped the Bush administration's opposition to Hamas being part of a future Palestinian Authority government. According to prominent Israeli political commentator Maya Bengal, who writes for the country's second-largest selling newspaper Maariv, the holiday is over.
