Memories of Dilfer

"So what must happen then? Dilfer could not stay, he was becoming a cancer and for all of his pomp in the media he was without substance on the field or in the locker room. Ironically he now will go to the 49ers and "mentor" another young QB there. Apparently Dilfer was so upset about backing up Charlie Frye and working with offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon he threatened to retire if indeed he was not traded. Browns fans don't mind seeing Dilfer go, too bad he didn't take Carthon with him is what many are thinking today."

Yep, good ole Dildofer.

How soon people forget. He really sucked as a QB. People wanted Frye over him badly, and he was better.

Not a fan of Randy Lerner, but good on him for this one:

Through club spokesman Bill Bonsiewicz, owner Randy Lerner responded, "Trent Dilfer running his mouth about a past employer doesn't merit a serious response."
