mjp28
WEEK 6 - THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL SPECIAL, One man's opinion on the NY Giants vs the NE Patriots Well One man knows a guy who was dumb enough to draft Saquon Barkley in his FL Draft with the very first pick.....ok it was One man so what. lol. But I don't think Barkley and 2 other #1 picks would help the Giants in this game. The Giants are off an 18-point home loss to a pretty good team, the Vikings. Five days later, they are on the road against a better team, the Patriots. Why should it go any better? Why shouldn’t it go worse? They have two more offensive injury absences in addition to RB Saquon Barkley: TE Evan Engram and WR Sterling Sheperd are out. Unless the Patriots get sloppy with the ball in the rain and wind that is forecast, the Giants shouldn’t do much on offense. One of the most consistent traits displayed by the Patriots is not being sloppy with the ball and making the opponentndo bad things with it. SO what to do? Easy again the G-men lost by 18 last week make it 21+ tonight TAKE NE -16.5 and well the O/U is 43 the Pats will put up 35+ so go OVER but don't bet the wife's whole paycheck on it. mjp28
Oh if you're having a tough time making up your mind One man just called me with this little gem to think about: Hard to imagine what the NFL had in mind making this non-conference game a stand-alone nationally televised matchup. The Patriots are 40-17-2 (70 percent) ATS in their last 59 home games. They have won an NFL-high 17 in a row in Foxboro. Bill Belichick swallows up rookie quarterbacks. Go ahead bet the wife's whole paycheck on this one! It's in the bag.

gumby73
good mark by side judge ref.. marked ball right at spot ball hit turf..no spot foot tricks. Brady was hit 3 times by Bills..9 times by skins last week..Bills 0 sacks..Skins 4 sacks..Giants got 1 sack on new Pats LT Marshall Newhouse.. who drew up a pick to another pick

Well speaking about Vegas and such things 21 + 14 = 35, the OVER is 43 so they only need 8+ looks like that should be in the bag. And the NE -16.5 well I hope they just don't play good enough to win......not the Belichik and Brady way. Actually the Giants are playing way over their heads. And the fix? How do you fix football? I've never seen or heard of it being done plus there's a zillion cameras on the game watching every little move. You can't even hide a no handshake. . Lines are set by the many, many professional sportsbooks head guys and the public's betting moves the lines. Hoops very rare but with 5 guys maybe 1 or 2 on the take it's possible but not likely. mjp28
What a sloppy game. Three NE drives end in -0- points and less than 7 minutes left. The Patriots need a FG to cover the side and over. Hmmmmm.

hx214
Man.... either the wind was blowing really hard on the field or Old Tommy boy is starting to show some sign of fatigue. I don’t think I can recall seeing him throw so poorly. He was missing wide open WR’s and a lot of the throws that got caught weren’t jems. Im sure he will be throwing darts against the Browns in two weeks though, so no worries.

Hey the BROWNS will have an extra week off before going to Foxborough to play the Patriots and at 4:25 pm.

I saw one sack of St. Thomas where the RT had the guy in a bear hug- he got to Brady anyway, and no call.... 6 hours ago, mjp28 said: The underdog Giants are playing inspired football......how long can they hold this up? NFL Not for long, that fumble recovery for a TD was the back breaker. You can't make that many mistakes against the Pats and expect to win.... OL is beatable// we get a week off, to find Balt. game defense// They have no TE's left, did Gordo return?// and for the love of god, will some team double Edelman & Wilks can't play zone (here's a issue) Wonder why Hunt got 8? lets squeeze in Pats week 8 🤫 (Hunt kills Pats) you still going to Pats game? In my FFL a score against the defense of 7 or less gets 100 points and a defensive TD gets 50. Since the second NY TD was by their own D, that did not count against me. So I started the week out with 150 points! Now if that damn Rivers has back to back shit the bed games like the one that gave me second place last week, I'll be pissed. He wasted a huge effort by my RB McCaffrey. The NE defense has scored me at least 100 points 5 of their 6 games so far, best in the league. I am indeed going to the Patriots game. My college roommate's son scored some free tickets. (If you think Browns tickets are pricey, Pats are 2-3 times more on the secondary market) Jet Blue flight + incedentals is all its going to cost me. Even have a free place to stay.
