OconRecon
http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/...ylon_edwar.html Cleveland Browns' Braylon Edwards is back by Tony Grossi/Plain Dealer Wednesday August 05, 2009, 8:58 AM BEREA, Ohio -- Browns receiver Braylon Edwards joined his teammates at practice this morning for the first time in training camp. Edwards had missed the first four days and six practices because of an undisclosed injury, believed to be on an ankle, that occurred off the field prior to the June minicamp. Edwards reported to camp a day late and then failed to pass the team's physical. By appearing on the field this morning, it means the club's medical staff cleared Edwards to practice. Coach Eric Mangini has declined to specify Edwards' injury.
Guest mz.
Good. Now let's see if he remembers how to catch. Because if not, all accounts claim Paul Hubbard is "wowing 'em."
Snik
Early in his first practice, WR Braylon Edwards made a fingertip catch in the back of the end zone. Browns fans hope Edwards, who led the NFL in drops in 2008, remains that sure-handed all year. Sounds good.
Gips
If braylon "emo" edwards can keep himself focused on football first he will do alright but you cant help but to suspect football isnt even close to his top agenda of desirable activities... DTBH
Browns WR Braylon Edwards rejected the claim that coach Eric Mangini sidelined him early in camp as punishment for arriving one day late. "It's the complete opposite," he said. "I respect coach Mangini. In fact, I think he was just taking care of me." http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/team/CLE
Riffer X
This Braylon thing has been blown out of proportion. His attitude has been good and at this point he is a part of the future this year. Mangini is not stupid, he knows the investment they have in him and how much they need him. Braylon gets dogged a little too much sometimes IMO. He's really not a bad kid. This team and staff should bring out the best in him. It's no longer the Edwards and Winslow Show.
