Riffer X
Right, MCL's heal on their own. It's more akin to an ankle sprain. The ligaments are stretched and partially torn, but heal up fine. MCL's tend to take longer than ankle sprains however. With the use of MRI's, we've also learned severe ligament sprains of the knee also involve a bone bruise. Again, this heals us on it's own, but cements the healing in the 4-6 week range. This is great news. 4 weeks at the soonest. 8 weeks max. Thanks Ocon for the doctor's perspective. I think realistically it will be week 4 since I believe he would have to wait until then to play unless he can go week one. It's best to give him plenty of time since we should have plenty of depth early on. Does this bode well fro Fraley?
playerjdd
i got a feeling we are keeping fraley anyways, mack is a rook and needs a good backup. This is excellent news on hadnot. He probably wont start but at least he will be a strong backup and might even start later in the season.

Fraley's a decent backup & a great sounding board for Mack. Also, it seems like George Foster hasn't done anything to earn a roster spot. If Tucker serves as a the backup for both spots on the right side, the need for another backup tackle is a little less serious. So we could afford to keep Fraley over Foster as our eighth o-lineman.
