The Gipper
Here are today's Survey Questions.....give your answers or opinions: 1. The Indians and the Pirates play the final games of the 2020 regular baseball season. Do you see this as a rivalry? 2. What NFL coaches do you think will be on the hot seat after this week. 3. One publication ranked the following stadiums as the worst 3 in the NFL: Fed Ex/Redskins ; Buffalo Bills stadium; Jacksonville stadium. What say you? Would you put any others in there? 4. The Vikings are 0-2, and not looking good going to that point. Do you think they badly miss Kevin Stefanski on that team, his absence being a factor in their lack of success? 5. Per one publication ALL of the following QBs have better Hall of Fame credentials than do Troy Aikman and Jim Kelly: Actives Phil Rivers/Matt Ryan/Russel Wilson/Cam Newton...plus retired QBs Eli Manning, Boomer Esiason, Roman Gabriel, Rich Gannon, Joe Theisman, John Brodie, Steve McNair, Jack Kemp and John Hadl. What say you?

What NFL coaches do you think will be on the hot seat after this week. 3. One publication ranked the following stadiums as the worst 3 in the NFL: Fed Ex/Redskins ; Buffalo Bills stadium; Jacksonville stadium. What say you? Would you put any others in there? Rich Stadium in Buffalo is ok, I went there once. 4. The Vikings are 0-2, and not looking good going to that point. Do you think they badly miss Kevin Stefanski on that team, his absence being a factor in their lack of success? Could be, too soon to tell. 5. Per one publication ALL of the following QBs have better Hall of Fame credentials than do Troy Aikman and Jim Kelly: Actives Phil Rivers/Matt Ryan/Russel Wilson/Cam Newton...plus retired QBs Eli Manning, Boomer Esiason, Roman Gabriel, Rich Gannon, Joe Theisman, John Brodie, Steve McNair, Jack Kemp and John Hadl. What say you? Hadl should have been in years ago. I'm sure Eli will get in with 2 SB wins. I'm still not sold on the Jim Kelly HOF thing. While the 4 straight SB appearances were great, I think he was about the 5th best AFC QB in his time. Esiason was better IMHO.

The Indians and the Pirates play the final games of the 2020 regular baseball season. Do you see this as a rivalry? No. I think they need to play each other in a WS first. Pirates were competitive when the Tribe wasn’t and vice versa 2. What NFL coaches do you think will be on the hot seat after this week. Bill OBrien 3. One publication ranked the following stadiums as the worst 3 in the NFL: Fed Ex/Redskins ; Buffalo Bills stadium; Jacksonville stadium. What say you? Would you put any others in there? Not Buffalo. MetLife for being anew stadium is kind of Blah. 4. The Vikings are 0-2, and not looking good going to that point. Do you think they badly miss Kevin Stefanski on that team, his absence being a factor in their lack of success? I was thinking about this during the week but they Seem to be off on both sides of the ball. 5. What say you? No. Aikman and Kelly are rightful HOFs. Some of the names in there are laughable
The Gipper
My own answers: 1. The Indians and the Pirates play the final games of the 2020 regular baseball season. Do you see this as a rivalry? No, not really. Not at this point. Maybe someday if the play more frequently. 2. What NFL coaches do you think will be on the hot seat after this week. Matt Patrick. Bill O'Brien, Dan Quinn. 3. One publication ranked the following stadiums as the worst 3 in the NFL: Fed Ex/Redskins ; Buffalo Bills stadium; Jacksonville stadium. What say you? Would you put any others in there? I have only been to a few, and they have been OK. There are a lot of new "palaces". The above are among the older ones. I know they are looking for a new one in Buffalo. So, I will go along with this. 4. The Vikings are 0-2, and not looking good going to that point. Do you think they badly miss Kevin Stefanski on that team, his absence being a factor in their lack of success? Well, they still do have Kubiak there, and the belief was that he would be their guru, but that's not working, so,yea, maybe their loss of Stank may be a big issue with how that team is performing. Who'd a thunk? 5. Per one publication ALL of the following QBs have better Hall of Fame credentials than do Troy Aikman and Jim Kelly: Actives Phil Rivers/Matt Ryan/Russel Wilson/Cam Newton...plus retired QBs Eli Manning, Boomer Esiason, Roman Gabriel, Rich Gannon, Joe Theisman, John Brodie, Steve McNair, Jack Kemp and John Hadl. What say you? That particular publication just looked at basic statistics, and maybe stats wise, these other guys do have the numbers. But it seems they are not counting titles...or chances at them. Aikman's 3 SB rings puts him above most. Plus his career was cut short. And I don't think they likely are looking at Kelly's USFL numbers, which were out of this world. Plus, though he lost them....he did take the Bills to 4 SBs. Some of these other guys certainly could be HOF worthy (including most of the actives), and I have felt that Kemp and Hadl may have had the stones to get in there.....so I would say, overall, no. Adam Gase if he isnt already... 3. One publication ranked the following stadiums as the worst 3 in the NFL: Fed Ex/Redskins ; Buffalo Bills stadium; Jacksonville stadium. What say you? The Gipper
5. What say you? No. Aikman and Kelly are rightful HOFs. Some of the names in there are laughable Laughable? Explain yourself. I certainly believe Aikman and Kelly are deserving, but I may say that some of those mentioned are deserving as well. Rivers will. Wilson will if he stays on course. Ryan may, at this point, be considered just an "accumulator" like Bledsoe or Vinny. Of the retireds, yes, I believe Eli will make it. His stats...except his many Ints....was every bit as good as his cohorts BR and Rivers....plus he has those titles. Also, I said above, Kemp and Hadl, to me, given there time, were at the top of their games during their age. The others mentioned are borderline, and so far come out as refugees stopped at the Border.
