THE BROWNS BOARD

The nazi connection to the Obama admin

BTW, it is more than laugable to read all those folks who called Bush everything under the sun now cowering that Obama is being called a Nazi.

Which one of the two groups referenced is correct? Both? Neither?

Remember that the CNBCites believe US Soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan are Terrorists?

Conservatives don't have a monopoly on stupidity.

Clearly we are born with certain propensities for illnesses. Genetics cannot be denied.

We also cannot deny that being healthy involves more than a little 'loss control' - exercise, weight control, diet, etc.

Health is not a privilege but it does have certain elements of duty in many cases.

Good point.

When I see a fat f'ck in Giant Eagle with the electric cart picking out their fix for Ben and Jerry's, I want to tip over their cart and squeeze the gallon of cookie dough out on their head. Same with smoking. I was a smoker and it is no ones fault but my own if I get cancer. But, it is a right to get that health coverage under our current system. EVERYONE gets health care now, no matter the circumstances and pay for it directly or indirectly.

The Cal's and T's want to think that under the current system that they don't foot the bill for the fat f'cks and smokers that waddle into the Emergency room with no insurance. Or maybe they have Medicare and are on "disability" for being so fat and Cal and T pay for them as well.

So, I lose my job and my insurance, get cancer and need treatment. Sweet, so I get free treatment and not pay the bill or I'll take 30 years to pay it back making $10/hr. Yea it will ruin my credit, but who gives a shit when I make $10/hr, I'm not going to get that new Ford Explorer I had my eye on anyways. I'll be dead in 10 years anyways, who pays for that then? Cal and T. Aren't these the same welfare handouts Cal and T are bitching about?

The people using the hospital for their personal health care clinic are in turn getting a free handout from EVERYONE.

The moral strain of denying health care to anybody based on money is even worse. It's unconscionable. It's disgusting. It's no better to treat them and then present a bill for $9,000 you know they can't pay.

Then go open up a free health clinic have it partialy subsidized by the federal government and leave independent insurance companies alone.

One of the reasons hospitals continue to increase what they charge is because of all of those indigent people and Illegal Aliens who keep popping out babies every 9 months.

What is disgusting is those who cry the loudest about how healthcare is a right dont really have a solution to the problem.

First close the borders and ship all mexicans back home that will help American Citizens in 2 areas, first we will create 17 Million New Jobs and we wont have to pay for their FREE HealthCare.

Unless you want to stand in lines like the DMV for healthcare.

You will be crying foul when you change jobs and loose your healthcare you currently have, you to will be made to pick up the Obama HealthCard and stand around to see a doctor.

Yes, T! YES!!!

You've got it, my boy. This is exactly what we want to see happen. When someone like Shep, or me, or you, loses his job we want there to be a system in place that provides us with care that's more affordable than COBRA and won't leave us, like so many other Americans, out in the cold, completely vulnerable to not only health issues, but personal bankruptcy issues as well.

And one that is cheaper and more efficient for everybody than having us show up at the emergency room while uninsured.

You're goddamn right.

Mr. T is Brilliant and he is right Obama Health Care is socialism at its best and will wreck our country

And? you will never be able to go back to a private insurer.

Kinda dumb law isn't it.

No, T! NO!

Of course you'd have the option of going back to a private insurer. There's nothing anyone is proposing, or that you could even imagine someone proposing, that wouldn't allow someone to go back to a private insurer should they choose to.

You're a perfect example of someone who is against the plan for reasons that have no merit whatsoever. Seemingly all of your objections are based on falsehoods, things you simply don't know or made up in your head.

You're an extremely impressionable man.

Then you should read the healthcare bill

as far as whining about Cobra have you ever thought about purchasing temporary short term health insurance? they come in many different plans and you can buy a policy for 3 to 6 months for the cost of one cobra payment, they can be renewed one time for the same amount of time that you originally purchased.

Yes they do pay the bills if you need to use it. Ask my neice, they paid 80 percent of her surgery.

You can start here if you need information.

http://www.senate.gov/

Straight from the horses mouth, just because you say its a lie does not mean that it is. When you stop your obama worshipping and do some research you will find the truth.

And for all of the lefts mis-information do not believe that the Republican party is not trying to work out realistic details to this health care bill. They are trying but the idiots are running things in DC as you can see in this short video. You have to catch the last 15 seconds. The democrats are acting like a bunch of pompous assholes and will not make any reasonable changes whatsoever. They are lording over everyone and will not listen to reason.

Dont be a Joker and worship Obama by supportin g anything he puts out there, look it up.

Scott is a pretty good graffiti artist. He can play the victim after being such an asshole and screaming at his constituents earlier. This may be the only thing that saves his ass.

But nothing has really changed. Scott is still a dipshit.

Why is it necessary to create an entire new system that everyone will eventually be legally forced to join?

Why not just subsidize the health insurance for those who don't have it?

Why have provisions to deny care to the elderly, and long delays with overcrowding the system that can't be

paid for already?

I'm tired of the liberal whining about the poor folks who don't have med insurance, and politically defending

Obamadoesn'tCare, which does not fix the problem either, since it is estimated that about 20 million folks will

LOSE THEIR FREAKIN HEALTH INSURANCE THEY HAVE NOW.

Creating a whole new Orwellian gov program that will replace everything that WORKS when it can NOT be

paid for...

is just whining, and being ignorant.

Just federally subsidize health insurance for those who don't have it - problem fixed.

Anything else, is Chavez/Selayav type political power grabbing.

Cal, you titled a thread about Obama's connection to Nazis.

********************************************

No, I didn't. I titled it singular, however remote you may consider it, one of his top advisors

is right out of the nazi playbook, in diminishing the rights of senior citizens and the very sick, and

diseased with mental complications, like dementia, etc.

********************************************

You know Obama isn't connected to Nazis.

********************************************

Shep, didn't say he was connected to NAZIS. Connected via the health bill, and the sick

ideas and advice he is getting from one of his chosen top advisors.

********************************************

You know Obama isn't evil.

********************************************

Have the read the health care bill he wants passed NOW ? No, we don't know.

********************************************

You know Obama isn't stupid.

********************************************

True - but that doesn't translate into assuming he has character. His broken promises and lies/contradictions

say he doesn't have character.

********************************************

You know Obama isn't even nasty or mean or ill tempered.

********************************************

No, I do not. Just like I don't know that Michelle Obama is not a patient dumper.

Because she most certain is a cold blooded patient dumper for $$$$

********************************************

You know all of those things. He just doesn't wear your colors. He isn't your color. He represents change when you want to go back.

********************************************

No, he represents a new gov that will disasterously limit our American freedoms, including our spelled out rights via the

1st and 2nd Amendments, for example.

And aged seniors' right to have the freedom to have hip replacements to walk again. His "board" could simply

deny that because of severe financial contraints.

Even TED KENNEDY admits there will be RATIONING.

"DON'T TREAD ON ME" says I.

********************************************

Let it go. What you do isn't politics. It's just soft-serve racism and you know it.

******************************************

It's nice to have you back, Shep, but knock off the diminishing of what I'm saying by trying

to say it's a racist thing.

I suppose the black conservative vendor of American flags and items with the new popular slogan "Don't Tread on Me"

deserved to get beaten up by three SEIU goons, and that he is complaining because he doesn't like Obama because

he's black.

Obama has not said ONE WORD about this event, Shep. Silence by OBama is glaring.

One need only look at Obama's advisors, his friends over the years, his attorney general, etc,

to get an idea that Obama is NOT who you say he is.

He may very well be our first? American Chavez.

******************************************

Shep - read this paragraph from the wiki post I already posted:

Additionally, historians speculate that the Nazi regime used abandoned castles and similar existing structures to lock up the undesirable elements of society. The elderly, mentally ill, and handicapped were often confined in these makeshift camps where they were starved or gassed to death with diesel engine exhaust. The Final Solution was therefore initially tested on German citizens in Action T4, the Nazi program of racial hygiene.

*************************************

Then read this: and then you tell me senior citizens and the families of the infirm should not be

frightened about this cold blooded socialist medical insurance bill:

July 21, 2009 (LPAC)-- Ezekiel Emanuel, the top healthcare adviser at Obama's Budget Office and brother of his chief of staff, believes it is "obvious" that people with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia (estimated as one of three people who live beyond the age of 65) should be denied health-care, since they are "irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens." An essay published in the Hastings Center Report (Nov-Dec 1996) by Emanuel, Norman Daniels and Bruce Jennings, says in part:

"This civic republican or deliberative democratic conception of the good provides both procedural and substantive insights for developing a just allocation of health care resources. Procedurally, it suggests the need for public forums to deliberate about which health services should be considered basic and should be socially guaranteed. Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the polity - those that ensure healthy future generations, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberation - are to be socially guaranteed as basic. Conversely, services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia."

I know you see the similarity Shep. You know you do. And now you know why those seniors and families of those who

are disabled, very aged, and otherwise permanently infirm, are so frightened and angry they are showing up at townhall meetings

for the first time in their lives.

And now you know that they SHOULD be frightened, Shep.

I'm not sure why you are STILL clinging to this false notion, as it has proven to be ridiculous. And wrong. And a lie. But keep on banging that drum.

Come on, mz the pussy, don't be all wet in Egypt -

how do you explain THIS:

July 21, 2009 (LPAC)-- Ezekiel Emanuel, the top healthcare adviser at Obama's Budget Office and brother of his chief of staff, believes it is "obvious" that people with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia (estimated as one of three people who live beyond the age of 65) should be denied health-care, since they are "irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens."

I have no idea how to explain it. Perhaps it is and out-of-context pull. Perhaps it's an outright lie. Who knows. One thing I am pretty sure of is the fact the US government isn't into murdering the elderly, no matter what Sarah Palin and the little voice inside your head is telling you. Doesn't it seem a little silly and far-fetched?

PS Don't show me a quote of a quote, show me a quote.

Sounds like a real murderer.

There's a certain irony to that suggestion. Ezekiel Emanuel, who's currently advising the administration on healthcare reform through a post at the White House Office of Management and Budget, is actually one of the country's leading medical ethicists, a forceful defender of people approaching the end of their life. Indeed, he opposes even voluntary euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide.

It's just soft-serve racism and you know it.

What a bizarre conclusion, Shep, unless you believe that anybody who opposes Obama's initiatives are racists. You are too smart for thinking that.

Cal is a racist because he opposes Obama's policies, and those who oppose Obama's National Health Care efforts are un-American, at least according to Pelosi.

Oh yea, those who supported Proposition 8 in CA are also un-American, according to Tom Hanks.

Some folks refer to this era as 'McCarthyism II'. Statements like the one above only contribute to that body of thought.

That seems to be a fair "other side of the story of what he really meant" in those two articles.

But, when you talk about a health bill that overreaches DRAMATICALLY, far, far more than

is required to solve the problem of the uninsured,

common sense says to Americans across the board: "Hey, wait a freakin minute here", which is

exactly what the blue dog Dems are doing in Congress.

And, this part:

"In her Post article, McCaughey paints the worst possible image of Emanuel, quoting him, for instance, endorsing age discrimination for health-care distribution, without mentioning that he was only addressing extreme cases like organ donation, where there is an absolute scarcity of resources. She quotes him discussing the denial of care for people with dementia without revealing that Emanuel only mentioned dementia in a discussion of theoretical approaches, not an endorsement of a particular policy. She notes that he has criticized medical culture for trying to do everything for a patient, "regardless of the cost or effects on others," without making clear that he was not speaking of lifesaving care but of treatments with little demonstrated value. "

is it fair, to say that the truth is somewhere between putting lipstick on a pig, and castigated him as a cold-blooded gov medical insurance program policy wonk?

I'm not the one who said that. Check yer sources.

I would say, that many "hard" choices will be made with his plan, because

as a lot of experts said -before- the election - there is no way to pay

for this health care boondoggle.

One said, if you took ALL of the money from the richest top 5%, it doesn't

even make the down payment on the enormous cost of Obama's hc fiasco.

Just have a gov program to get the uninsured insured. That solves the problem,

Dems and Obumbly would be heroes to most. Instead, it's a gigantic, leftist politically

based mess, which includes things like, the 5 year exemption for private insurance co's,

and the requirement to join the gov plan, if you, say, lose your job and get another job.

That is a back door dirty trick to eliminating private insurance for millions and millions and millions

and millions of Americans who have great health care now.

FIX the problem, and the high costs to hospitals for uninsured goes away.

I'm no experte', but I think gov investment in pharmacutial R&D research would offset

investment based high prices of drugs.

To be fair and balanced, I'll add a link to an article that says

Emmanuel backs off care rationing for the infirm, etc.

He says his views have changed over time.

(it's screwed up he ever felt like that in the first place, though...)
