The Gipper
Here is today's Trivia Question: Name all of the people who were drafted by the Cleveland Browns who were later elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hints: A. 12 names. (not including Joe Thomas...who will get there, but just not yet) B. Be aware that they were not all associated with the Browns in their HOF careers

I know Otto Graham, Marion Motley, & Lou Groza are in the HOF, but "signed" by the old Browns before they entered the NFL, NOT drafted. Mike Check on the above names (first line)...and you are right about the other names you mention Still 5 names left....all of which, by the way fall into the category of "made their career elsewhere". And none in 43 years....though that will actually prove to be only 29 years as Joe Thomas will make it, drafted in 2007. But, also, as noted, the Browns got rid of some of these HOF players: Donovan to Colts, Atkins to Bears, Davis and Jordan to Packers. And Don Shula made it as a coach for the Colts and Dolphins, not as a player for the Browns.
nickers
I'm still pissed Clay Mathews wasn't selected... The NFL ought to be ashamed of it's self... 1
