OMG STFU Hue. He's the worst NFL coach. And he has rightfully earned it. Period.

Does anyone doubt that Hue was lied to?     I mean we're talking about Jimmuh.  He told Chud & Norv Turner to be patient because they were in the process of building a team.  And then traded Trent Richardson so they had no RB.  And then told them to be patient again.  And then at the end of the season they fired Chud & Norv.

Put THAT in your book Hue.

And then put THIS in your book Hue.   YOU STUNK!   You had NO CLUE how to handle the QB position.   Your game management was atrocious.  Absolutely horrid in game decisions.  1st and goal at the Steeler one yard line...in OT....against Steeler backups...and you managed to lose the game with your big brain play calling.

Trailing the Bengals by like 13...heading into the half...with 4th and 2 you couldn't figure out that you should try to score a TD cos we were like 0-6...so you got a delay of game penalty and kicked the FG.  The Bengals then were content to run the clock out so they ran it (for like 8 or 9 yards, cos we sucked)...they were slowly getting up off the ground and heading to the huddle when YOU, HUE, called Time Out.  (for a moment there was confusion as to why a TO was called...after all...we only had the 2 left so we couldn't get the Bengals to 4th down with time outs)  So....the Bengals said, "Oh Yeah?"  And proceeded to pass the ball, use their OWN time outs, and score a TD on us at the buzzer.

Put THAT in your book Hue.  Then SMOKE it !!

He is a small minded bitter man. He is regurgitating the same stuff over years. The more that man talks the more he will not find a job. Game tape is his kryptonite. The only thing he can do is deflect and make allegations because it’s clear as day he cannot coach

Hue Jackson is the embodiment of two things being true at the same time.

We can all agree that those rosters were laughably bad. Those teams were setting up to tank about as intentionally as possible. But, this doesn't mean that Hue wasn't an awful coach too. From "trust me on this one" Kessler to "I can mold him" Kizer, his then claim to fame of being a "QB whisperer" went up in flames. He made mind numbingly stupid decisions during the game that while they don't come to mind objectively hindered wins. This is a burning a bridge, I guess he really must be okay with lacing them up. I just hope he takes a long look in the mirror and realizes if he was a good coach, he would be on a staff right now. Very telling he's been out of the league essentially three years and is now planning this book.

It should be entitled, "Tragedy"

He isn't wrong about the analytics vs football.

That's the only way I can explain selections like Erving, Coleman and Ogbah.

I am not going to get in to old debates about various draft selections, but Hue wasn't right about shit.  The guy is a stain and it's a shame he can even in a round about way associate with the Browns.

There was a very good and in depth ESPN article on the Browns and what went on inside around two years ago.

It made it explicitly clear that Hue as well as Sean McDermott were told exactly what was going to happen. The FO voted 4-1 to hire McDermott and Haslam still went with Hue. He knew exactly what he was getting into he just thought he could win games along the way, he couldn’t.

What publisher is it that's wasting their efforts on Hue's book?  I mean, who the hell is gonna read the damn thing?  It's not like he went on to accomplish anything?

I think the Browns - for what they trying to accomplish back then - nailed it out of the park when they hired Hue.

They were in full tank mode. I can't think of a better head coach to hire than Hue to help this proceed successfully.
