Browns Vs. Vikings - Where to Watch

I'm just curious cause I have no idea-how populated is that purple are of Oklahoma where the Browns are on instead of the Chiefs? It looks like Tulsa is in there and a quick fire up of the Google machine says that town is 400k people. I get Mayfield excited the sooner faithful, but I'd think that'd be much more prime Chiefs country who gets wanged watching them play.

I get the impression Oklahoma football is similar to Ohio State football in those parts. It’s like a step above or below God, depending on who you ask.

People name their kids Baker and Kyler, and everyone shows up so damn early to everything because they wanna get there sooner than everyone else. The year Baker got drafted l remember reading a story about how the Sooner faithful stormed their local tv affiliates demanding Browns football so that they could bask in their Soonerness on Sundays. Apparently that phenomenon is still going on.

Whoo hoo. Looks like the Browns will be on at my house this weekend!

I was thinking about you and our other WVA guys down there.

Even the Pittsburgh, PA football fans will get the BROWNS'  game this Sunday.   :)

Oklahoma City- population 600k also will get the Browns. FWIW, the U of Oklahoma is in Norman is just south of OKC.  :)  You also may notice there's a tiny sliver of SE Wyoming that's going to get the Bills game- for virtually the same reason. U of Wyoming is in Laramie. Um- who played there?  Josh Allen.  :)

PS having visited Wyoming many times in the past- that probably doesn't matter to a lot of the locals. Bet they're out of range of OTA TV. Our last visit there, several areas with no cell phone coverage. Hello Directv Sunday Ticket.

This is my 3rd season since moving here. I have met quite a few Browns fans here. Hopefully with our Brownies winning and the Steelers going down the tubes more Browns games will be shown here.

Another damn Houston game for me. 2 weeks in a row no live Browns.

You would think with the "sub channels " TV stations have they could put a second game on their .2 channel.  Before I moved south the Toledo CBS station had a Browns preseason game on their main channel and whoever was playing on CBS on the .2 channel.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work where I am now as CBS is on 59.1 and FOX is 59.2.

A closer look,  sure a lot of different looks on the 5 games  out there at 1 EDT except for the mountain and pacific time zones.  I remember watching a OSU/MICH game at about 7 am when I was in Hawai'i   a different perspective on the game same thing with SNF and MNF games.

You must not have been a loyal enough DirecTV subscriber to rate Tour. I had heard Direct was giving it away about a month ago. Thought about complaining why I didn't rate as a 15+ year customer.  I didn't want to waste time hassling them, as my pal Bob does have ST, and anyway here in SW Ohio we're lucky that this year the Browns are on 15 out of 17 weeks.

So what happened?  Last week I get a postcard from Direct- "congrats, you now have the full super fan package- on us." Better late than never I suppose. You've probably seen my rants about Direct and Sunday ticket. Bet that 2022 is the last year Direct has Sunday ticket. They're not going to be able to afford it.  If the NFL has 1\2 a brain,  they'll spread it over multiple platforms.

I live in a area where the Titans or Falcons are always going to be on.  The Browns are only on if it is more or less a national feed so I don't worry about it anymore, I know I am heading to a sports bar to watch.  I do feel for you folks who are in the fringe area where the Browns could/should be on but give way to Cincy, Indy, Detroit or whoever.

I guess it's worth a phone call. Either they say "free" or they don't. Since I'm out of the country the 2nd half of Oct., it's just not worth buying.

It is the main live game over here and I cant wait, this is a proper test after the last two opponents, they have extra incentive due to Stef.

But who cares, I just think we are a better team than them, we will win.

I usually get a message saying it is dangerous to open the site. So more like Phishing than anything.🎣😱

So I'm taking my grandson for ole Gramp's racquetball lessons instead. Better spent time than watching Houston or the Cowgirls.

StreamTV Pro.

Solves problems.

DirecTv customer for a decade and then AT&T screwed that up.

The AT&T business model... Buy a decent company, and ruin it- starting with Lucent Technologies.  When I heard AT&T was going to buy Direct- I couldn't get on my computer fast enough to sell my Direct stock, which had previously been doing quite well.  They (AT&T) are sadly in the "too big to fail" category. They're a crap company. To the point my co season ticket holder pal dumped anything to do with them- even though his brother in law is an ex- AT&T VP.
