Aspirin the real covid wonder drug?

Recommended Posts

From the article:  " WebMD said the study doesn’t provide cause and effect, but only associations between aspirin and lower COVID rates. The lower rates could be caused by other factors not known."

If you have ever had a statistics course you know this is from Stat 101: Correlation does not necessarily mean cause and effect. Maybe more people get vaccinated who take the time to be on low dose aspirin. Just another possibility. This kind of study needs followup before you can conclude aspirin prevents COVID to any degree.

I think it might be the hyperventilation brought on by your fear of the plague but it's causing you to miss a little bit of the sarcasm.

Hey, I'm about to test the waters in the UK with a 9 hour flight each way with masks required and a test within a day of arriving, so it's understandable. 😱😂

EDIT: And if either of us comes up positive (we were neg on ones taken before going), then they send you to a quarantine hotel 10 days with food delivered to your room, all at your own expense and the whole planned trip activities up in fumes. I kept telling my with this was a bad idea of her two sister/husbands who we are meeting there. But I can use a telephone, but not a telewoman.🙉

I'm thinking a 6-week quarantine after the trip is the least you should do. Remember you could save thousands of lives.

Oh, we have to pass a test at the airport before we get on coming back to the US as required by our own government. Between the two they have all bases covered. And again, no passie, no flie and into quarantine we go at the end. I'm telling you this was a bad idea.

There's an old Maxim that the right and the left love to use. But but but that test it's not 100% for sure! 😆 just saying if you refuse to quarantine yourself you could be responsible for a deadly outbreak that would put the black plague to shame.

Have a good trip tex

Aren't you vaxxed?

vaccination= treatment with a vaccine to produce immunity against a disease; inoculation.

immunity= he ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells.

What did you get......?

God that shit is funny....

Yep, vaxed including the booster a month ago. But that does not guarantee you don't become an asymptomatic carrier who will test positive. Not really worried much though since UK has far more restrictions than we do here and where we are staying most of the time doesn't hold a candle to the COVID rates in the county I live in right here.

If you can only become an asymptomatic, what are you worried about?

Although, I think the science proves you can also have symptoms and die even after 2 jabs

Hope you stay safe and have a great time

I'd feel pretty bad bringing it home since I live near Sun City where tons of retired military live. But I read about 95% are vaxed.

And thanks. I'm sure we will do just fine even with all the hoops they put you through just to get on the airplane. It's unreal. Passport and ticket are easy. Then US approved vax cards, addresses for 10 days (3 for us), a form a mile long, etc. I almost expect a mandatory blood drive at the door.🧛‍♀️
