No, it's not "as simple as that".   Some of the driving force behind these so called "anti-vaxxers" is not solely about the effectiveness of the vaccine itself, but rather the rejection of imposed MANDATES by states and proposed by Biden.  And yes, misinformation does happen as a result.

Oh yes my little axiom I guess about a small circle of nurses that like to tell President Biden jokes and put up funny cartoons because they loved 💕 Trump and now can't get over the.........well you know the appropriate 0-60 in courts all over the United States of America  including the SCOTUS who practically laughed Trump and his lawyers out of court because he had ZERO evidence about his <cough, big lie cough>  flimsy  attempt...... well you know it was everywhere on TV, radio, newspapers, internet.

I really don't want to plow those manure fields again.  Whew did that stink the first time.

But that small minority of nurses who used to be stanch Trump supporters and denounce masks and vaccines are now slowly coming back, they see the real facts and truth about this virus.   The last diehard holdouts are basically despised  by the majority of the medical community, patients, their families  about how they continue their Facebook garbage...... but it has declined somewhat recently. 

It has nothing to do with your little mp jabs stuff I have no idea where you came up with that.  Oh well that's no big deal.  

It's just a shame too that prior to covid-19 they were a tight group now a small minority of them have caused so much division.  Hopefully it will heal in time.

It's always a good idea to consider the source but it's a bad idea to assume out of hand that everything that the people that disagree with you say is a lie. The angle being presented on a story maybe left or right but it doesn't mean the story is false.

And just for the record resistance to tyranny or mandates or whatever, it's not necessarily a right-wing idea. I would venture a guess that most dictatorships are also as far as left as you can get. Communism / socialism is a big seller for tyrants.

I absolutely remember JFK and Nam I was in the first 19 year old draft......go to the high school forum for details...... but the sides weren't nasty and vicious like now.

I also was very politically active in the 80s several of my relatives were in elective offices and really follow it now it's terrible.

(here is one of my favorite mushroom dishes  edit add....oh NJ is my wife, a great scratch cook )

NJ's TRI-MUSHROOM BORDELAISE for steaks and chops or as a side dish, serves 4

In a one quart sausepan:
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
2 Tbsp flour 
Cook together in saucepan stirring often until lightly browned ........ you're basically making a rue.  I like mine a bit thicker almost a heavy soup as a side dish.  Some like it thinner like the base recipe here.   We modeled this tri-mushroom dish after an old steakhouse recipe from years ago. Great over thick mashed potatoes too !   Bon appetit.

Dry ingredients:
1 1/2 Tbsp minced onions or shallots
1 Tbsp minced dry pasrley
1 Bay leaf
1/4 tsp thyme crushed
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground pepper

Add dry ingredients to the butter and flour
Then slowly stir in:
10 1/2 oz. Beef broth
3/4 cup good red wine

Increase heat to medium high; cook stirring constantly until thick; remove Bay leaf

Add sauce to mushrooms that have been sautéed in butter; add snipped Parsley to garnish
1 cup Portabella mushrooms (a very large, rich-flavored cremini mushroom, often grilled, broiled, or sautéed)
1 cup Button mushrooms (a young unopened white mushroom)
1 cup Shiitake mushrooms (a large, meaty, black or dark brown mushroom)

*edit - adding a crushed clove of garlic to dry ingredients is optional....and also pretty good
