This year with the new name but same Cleveland GUARDIANS baseball players,  managers and everything else this thread is going to be exclusively for the game by game highlights,  stats and results. 

This will officially start with Game 1 on Thursday April 7 in KC let's see how it goes. 

Any other stuff you want to post with not change you can post whatever you want.

Then back to Cleveland Ohio for the home opener versus SF Friday at 7:10 !

........ Bobby Bradley muffs a DP ball SF scores 2 more.  SF 4-0 bottom 4.

........ SF 8-1 final. They have a pretty good team. So far the young Guardians have beaten KC and CIN not good teams.

It's going to be an " interesting " season for these young guns.

Game 10 - Tuesday  April 19 - CWS at CLE  first pitch  6:10 pm EDST.  Starters  Keuchel (1-0) versus Beiber (0-0)   ~~~ postponed  Monday ~~~

Shane Beiber is the Guardians hard luck starter so far in 2022.

And yes Tuesday's game is, you got it   ~~~ postponed  and will be made up Wednesday at 1:30 pm ~~~.

CLEVELAND (AP) — For the second straight day, the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians were postponed by inclement weather and unplayable, cold conditions.

Tuesday's game was called four hours before the scheduled first pitch, with the decision coming after Guardians manager Terry Francona and White Sox manager Tony La Russa met the umpires outside at Progressive Field.

Snow piled up in downtown Cleveland the past two days and temperatures have been in the low 30s.

"Playing tonight, you start to worry about hurting somebody or playing the game when you shouldn't," Francona said. "You just do the best you can. It was going to be pretty miserable. To the point where you start to worry about your guys."

The game will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader Wednesday, starting at 2:10 p.m. Monday's
postponement will be played as part of a doubleheader on July 12.

This week's four-game series is a three-game set with two games Wednesday and one Thursday. With a dryer, warmer weather forecast, the AL Central rivals should finally meet for the first time this season.

.......top 7, CLE 4-1  Plesac leaves turns it over to the BP for the sweep & first place.  And  D'OH a freakin' double error. CLE 4-3 bottom 7. 

......bottom 8th  CLE 6-3  and the sweep is in sight again.  Now top 9.  And the sweep is complete.
